Construction moves forward on Whitewater World

Dreamworld's new water park is still nearly six months from opening day, but that doesn't mean things aren't moving forward at a steady pace.

Image: Richard Wilson. More and more pieces are being put into place on what is a giant jigsaw puzzle for theme park fans around Australia. With several of the slides being revealed, the latest gallery at Roller-Coaster.com.au shows you the very latest from the site with nearly 40 high-quality photographs.

With three towers of slides confirmed for Whitewater World, it's now just a matter of seeing what they will contain. So far two of them - dubbed "Tower 1" and "Tower 2" have revealed some of their slides, with the mystery purple "Tower 3" yet to spoil its surprise.

 "Tower 1" is found intertwining with Cyclone at the far end of the water park. It contains three tube slides.

"Tower 2" is at the front end of the park nearest the entrance point. It will contain a Tornado identical to that which Wet'n'Wild are current building. It will also contain another slide which is yet to be built or revealed.

"Tower 3" is in early stages of vetical construction and it is not yet known what it will feature.
