Halloween hits Movie World
Warner Bros. Movie World have announced their Australian-first Halloween event that is set to take place after dark at the Gold Coast theme park, modelled after similar events that take place at theme parks found across the United States, such as Universal Studios Orlando (pictured).
Who better to become the mascot for an event on the spookiest night of the year than the big dog himself, Scooby-Doo.
On October 31, guests will be able to visit Warner Bros. Movie World from 5:45pm for just $20.00, with discounts given to pre-orders or family packages.
Modelled after similar events that take place at many major theme parks across the Halloween-crazed USA, the night will feature all the fun and games of a Halloween party with the additional excitement of some of Australia's best attractions at night.
Major rides and attractions will also be operating all night, giving guests a chance to experience Superman Escape, Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster and others after dark.
Theme parks in the United States such as Universal Studios Orlando and Knott's Berry Farm have become legendary with their month-long after-dark celebration. The events feature a plethora of Halloween-only attractions, including countless mazes and haunted house style attractions that are built each year for the events.
With Movie World's debut Halloween event being a single night, it can be expected to be only a fraction of the size of similar USA events, but the park is sure to put on a themed event with the style and quality that has come to be the norm at Warner Bros. Movie World.
