Summer theme park choices increase competition
Sources have revealed an early idea of pricing for Dreamworld and WhiteWater World's two day "World Pass" tickets. With the pricing for Warner Village Theme Parks' newest ticket options also recently revealed, WVTP will be leading the price wars for the upcoming summer with their more varied and economical ticketing options.
A Two-Day World Pass, that gives entrance to both Dreamworld and WhiteWater World for two days will set a Comonwealth Awards participant back 18,300 points. These are currently available through the programme to any participant.
Based on products of an identical points value, such as the Childrens' Super Pass for Warner Village Theme Parks, it is expected that the Dreamworld and WhiteWater World offering will cost customers around the $100.00 mark for an adult ticket which will allow the guest unlimited 'hopping' between the two adjacent parks.
It is not expected that this pass will require guests to visit on two consecutive days. The popular Two Day Blast ticket at Dreamworld requires that guests revisit the park within 14 days of the original purchase.
By comparison, pricing has been released for Warner Village Theme Parks' new ticketing options. As expected the Super Pass - which allows unlimited entry to all three of their parks over 14 days - has remained unchanged in price at $164.00. The newly added Fun Pass - all three parks over five days - will be priced at $135.00. The Summer Pass, which is set to be a direct substitute for the competing World Pass is only $99.00 and allow the guest three days of entry to any two of the three theme parks, including Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Water World.
Visitors will be faced with the choice between two days at Dreamworld and WhiteWater World, which will offer the latest water ride technology, or for roughly the same price three days at their choice of Sea World or Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Water World, an older but larger and more established water park.
With more options, more flexibility and an ultimately more economical ticket, Warner Village Theme Parks look to be taking the early lead in what is set to be a fierce period of competition between the two major competitors.
