Freischütz Overview
"Free Shooter" is a launched coaster with 4 inversions. The ride features an inside top hat, loop, two corkscrews, as well as three helices along the way.
The ride uses a energy recovery system, whereby excess energy from braking is used to power the next launch. In quiet periods, the ride can be run in a mode where the train shoots straight through the station and completes a 2nd lap.
The ride is themed around a German opera from the romantic era, where the protaginist does a deal with the devil to cast a cursed bullet that never misses its target. The launch tunnel is themed like the barrel of a gun.
