The credit really goes to the AW team and board, I'm just the guy who gets to enjoy working with an incredible team, with a beautiful park with lots of potential to keep improving. It really is a labour of love! for all of us. The best pay check for us really is seeing thousands of people coming together and having a great time together, with family, with friends or both. that's the real payback. Bring on the glorious Perth summer 2015/16!! We've just been reviewing some progress photos on the theming on the new slide and I think its as good, possibly better than Abyss so we are really excited for the reveal. We are also excited about a whole raft of other small improvements across the park currently being worked on. More cabanas, more shade, better music cover and themed music/sound zones, and much more. ( lots of people say "much more" when they have just actually said pretty much everything but in this case its meant literally and more details will be revealed over the course of the next 3 months) suffice to say, this is actually the busiest period of the year for the core team trying to get as many improvements made in a relatively small window (considering a lot of our guys take annual leave too right now!). watch out for a brand new website around September along with platinum season passes and 2 day passes. oh, and a sleepover event for season pass holders, courtesy of a shared idea from this forum We will give you a sneak reveal a few hrs before the media story reveal sometime in the next month cos we really do appreciate our enthusiasts! As for "cool", ask my kids or pretty much anyone who knows me and they will quickly put you right on that idea!! lol. teaser campaign first reveal will likely happen in the next 3-4 weeks depending on media availability. It's a tie between Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain & SeaWorld San Diego.... but if I had to preference it would probably be in that order! My dream holiday would involve going to all three ???

Yep. Nearly drowned 2 or 3 times as a kid and gave up on water. I'm pretty sure I was about 16/17 when my sister convinced me to go on Corkscrew. It was the first coaster I'd been on that did a loop. Pretty sure the only other one prior to that was the one at Tops in the Myer centre. Went on cs about 15 times that day. Loved coasters ever since.
