  2. ^yeah thats my line of thinking, but what Reanimated has saif as far as the order makes sense... but to expand AC's answer to Reanimated's question - After launch, the cord accelerates the pod upwards. At some point (which is far lower than halfway up the tower) the cords are fully contracted and there is no further acceleration imparted onto the pod. The pod immediately begins decelerating with gravity, and the higher it goes, the slower it gets as the cord slowly dampens the speed of climb. Because of this, the pod does not stretch the cord anywhere near as much as it is at launch, as it is slowed by both gravity and the cord...

  3. The funnel looks almost complete now. You can see it much better from the street outside. There's a pile of marble/paving waiting by the bumper boats area and some work being done in other parts of the park. There's lots of green slide sections at the rear of the hill, next to where Freefall normally stands.

  4. I'm all for it if it suits the ride. Some Disney sponsorships spring to mind, such as the Turner Classic Movies sponsorship on The Great Movie Ride and Alamo Car Rental sponsoring the Main Street Vehicles. The way they are executed is great. Pronounced enough to be effective, while also being subtle enough to not feel like you've just been assaulted. What fuels the fire of hate within me is the Six Flags approach to sponsorship. It just hurts me to see these... No real care or thought put into it, other than that they're getting some quick coin. Let's just hope Dreamworld can execute sponsorships in a good and natural way, which hopefully won't involve the Cyclone being sponsored by the equally bad Frank Walker from National Tiles advertisements.

  5. I have no issue with corporate sponsorship when it is done well and fits the theme of the ride. Honda is a very obvious choice for the Moto-Coaster. Disneyland has been doing this for years, since day one if I'm not mistaken.
