  1. Adventure World is looking nice, including the front of the new walled car park. The paddle boats definitely look to be a part of history as the station has pretty much been removed. Abyss was running smoothly, today, although the guardians are looking a little weathered. There are plenty of shade sails up around the place. Many of the paths have been re-coated, so as to not burn the feet. The new water slide is not currently being tested. Freefall looks really run down and it doesn't seem like it'll be working anytime soon. The cheesy bacon fries were a popular addition to the menu. Having the discount with the season pass really helps on keeping the prices down. And yeah.. I've got a new wide-angled lens.

  2. Yeah the theming is great in the new area. I love the TMNT section in particular! They did really well doing it up, and it has life-sized statues of all 4 turtles surrounding it. My family and I simultaneously went on the kiddy coaster, that was as fun as could be expected for the 2 laps it goes for. Was over pretty fast. Not sure if this is permanent or maybe just a school holiday thing, since the queues are obviously quite long atm. My 5 year old loved it regardless, came off it telling the operator that it was the "best ride ever" lol. I particularly liked the new Spongebob orange submarine ride. It's also more intense than the Wiggles boat one at Dreamworld, it goes faster and also spins in circles as it sways from side to side, changing from anti-clockwise to clockwise halfway through. The jellyfish 'teacups' ride is kinda cool too, as they do a figure 8 path around each other instead of just the usual circle laps. As pushbutton mentioned, the TMNT cycle copter things are pretty cool as you have to pedal to go higher. Loved the TMNT show, even if it didn't go for very long (10 mins?) it was still entertaining and pulled a pretty impressive crowd. All in all I think Sea World should give themselves a big pat on the back for this one, even if they ran late opening it

  3. That TMNT bicycle plane thing looks fun. The more you pedal, the more you go up! I Will have a go on it when I have my nephew and nieces with me!

  4. Thanks for the photos. Looks really good. Is there a show where the Dora show was, or is it the same show?

  5. I went to HK Disneyland just after it opened and literally did everything in one day. It has improved since then. There is space for a second park across the walkway. It would certainly help make the resort a destination worth staying at. Often the Chinese language queues are worse. I found the boat captains' English a little inconsistent.

  6. ^Dude if I was a Disney fan I would spend more time there, instead I'm focusing on the small number of Disney attractions I want to see and spending the rest of my time at Busch, Sea World, and Universal.

  7. Maybe the mine ran out of gold, that's why it's been closed so long, and the long dead ghost of Jack Darke (from the buzzsaw backstory) has been fiddling with the controls.
