This is a total junk thread. Thing is we tried to discuss this with you last time, but you weren't able to take anything on board that you were being told. You're incapable of a discussion on the issue. Don't accuse us of censoring either because we left the thread up for all to see. So here is what's going to happen; This thread is being locked, and if you start a new one you'll be banned. That simple. This isn't adding anything to the community, and frankly, we don't need you. Also although we don't HAVE to answer to you (and you probably won't listen anyway) none of the mods on here are on Sea World's books.

if it's true i say bring it on. more competition is good for the other guys it prompts them to add bigger and better rides. which is only good for us

I was just about to post this too. I do worry slightly that the theme park market may have already reached saturation level in the Gold Coast, but I'm sure nobody would waste a billion dollars if they were not absolutely certain it would be a worthwhile investment. If it happens, fantastic. I would like to think any new park would focus on themed experiences rather than more thrill rides. It's certainly where there's something of a gap in the current offering.

This group is a serious player though. They are building a massive project in Beoadbeach and recently bought Hoyts.

So a theme park with 42 rides and 22 slides. so when you said 'if you had the money' what you meant was 'if you had UNLIMITED FUNDS'. to build a park with ALL of those attractions is probably even beyond Disney (not financially, but even in the most remote of possibilities). You would also need a small country to accommodate the required land and infrastructure. And here I was thinking you were talking about a 'realistic' park. My idea would be park that consists of only 1 attraction: * 100 teleportation machines, all of which take you to the queue line of the top 100 rides/slides around the world. That way I'd never have to leave Australia to ride the worlds best.
