There are still new posts being made. Movieworld are remaining professional and appear to just be giving their generic responses and ignoring all the disputes. I'd personally love to see them delete it all, alas I can only imagine the new shitfight with cries of censorship that would cause if they did. Damned if they do and damned if they don't ? ETA: Damn. Was trying to find the comment where some moron was referring to Movieworld numerous times as a cinema instead of a theme park. But it looks like they have deleted it ? Just comes to show that most of these idiots are jumping blindly on the bandwagon and don't even know what they are protesting, let alone who they are protesting it to ?

There's 0 reason to even walk past it unless you're seeking it out is there? People just seem think that every Muslim must be a big bad evil terrorist. IMO regardless of what room is there, that section of buildings/fair games should be demolished for a new ride.

Do I think it should be there? Not particularly. Does it bother me or effect my trip to the park - not in the slightest. Id rather they get rid of the Vacation Club people (though at least there is some sort of financial gain by having them).

Hey guys! I'm at Dreamworld atm and just spoke to a senior ride attendant about the mine ride. She confirmed that they HAVE been doing test runs recently. But according the the head of maintenance, the track is currently not in the best state and needs work, which is going to cost a lot of $$ to fix up. She said that they have been using the inside of it for storage for years now as well, so probably full of rats nests, spiders etc lol. Anyway she believes they are *definitely* planning to re-open it, and it's case of "when" not "if". It just depends on when Dreamworld want to spend the finances on fixing it finally, which could be soon, or years from now. The time share chick outside of the river rapids also confirmed she has seen them doing a bit of work on it lately! So there ya go :-D I'm in the area of the ride atm, so will see if I can get some piccies before I leave. But yep I can see the water test dummies at the station too
