You've pretty much described the general tone of Parkz. I found to be a really interesting retrospective on the one ride in Australia that has the most convuluted history. I would love to see some more articles of this style in the future, although you would need a subject with an actual history to write about.

Morning, the wait time signs have been in the queue race for approx. 3 days now. I think it definitely helps as most people don't have watches or phones on them and are poor at measuring time when waiting. Consequently 45 mins becomes over an hour in their minds.

Boomerang is an Australian Aboriginal hunting tool. Australia is home to the Gold Coast, the Gold Coast is home to Dreamworld. Dreamworld is home to a Vekoma Waikiki Wave Super Flip, coincidence, I think not. If totta's logo is a sign for a Vekoma Waikiki Wave Super Flip, we can only assume that totta is working for Vekoma or Dreamworld. If totta is working for Dreamworld, this explains how he got all this information. If totta works for Vekoma, we can only assume that vekoma is working with Mack Rides to create a new Wild Mouse eureka.

Maybe the mine ran out of gold, that's why it's been closed so long, and the long dead ghost of Jack Darke (from the buzzsaw backstory) has been fiddling with the controls.
