  1. I'd assume it's just that one staff member; as all of the times I've been there (for every ride); Ride Express is usually all let on at once. Sorry to say; but they aren't invincible; you just have to hit the targets (Or they're conveniently never using this invincibility when I visit; take your pick)

  2. The park was busy, but not extremely busy. Most flat rides were a 15-20min wait, with the rollercoasters all being 40-50 minutes. Didn't see how long the log and rapids rides were. A few things I have to say: I miss when Buzzsaw was really smooth, it really has gotten very rough and it gave me a bit of a headache today. The queue on this was 45 minutes at the very start of the day, due to the relatively large number of ride express users that decided to come here first. Fortunately, the staff were only letting one group of ride express users through at a time, is this a park-wide rule or just something that staff member was doing? Anyways, that worked fine until one ride express guy decided to complain, saying that he was allocated a slot at 10:45, and wasn't on the ride at that time. The time at that point was only one or two minutes after 10:45. Sigh. Some people just have no patience and don't understand how the system works. The staff member decided to applease him by letting through all the ride express users on that cycle, meaning 3/4 of the train was already taken. Luckily I was at the front of the line and was one of the two non-express groups to get on that cycle. Zombie Evilution had 3 staff members on duty, so the queues were cycling really fast making it a really short wait. Unfortunately, eventually that meant only two staff members were needed, so the third staff member decided to stay in the arena as an extra player. Unfortunately, he still used the yellow staff lights, making him invincible and able to shoot whoever he liked. Kinda annoying because he was the main source of shots hitting me, but also added an extra challenge so looking back on it, it was pretty good that he was there, adding a new element to the game. He ended up racking up more points than the winning team. Shoutout goes to one of the staff members, for actually being enthusiastic about everything and not being 1) a control freak that just shouts at you non-stop or 2) an obviously bored staff member who says what they need to say and then not much more.

  3. Similar to that in most other McDonald's. Modern and very good.

  4. Yeah... it's a bit of a change to normal McDonalds The burger bar is a great concept too where you can actually see all the ingredients and watch them make your burgers.

  5. Until recently at a few stores never seen the pager style locators used when doing CYT. Seems kind of pointless with clipboard and receipt setup that was used when first started at stores. The wait seems normal too, expect a 15 minute wait when doing it for eat in. The baskets for fries can be hit and miss but later at night can't blame them for using the take away packaging.

  6. The Menu's on the tables for CYT were used for the first 6 months or so of the roll out so that people who might not have ordered it would see it and have a look and decide "Hey, this looks good I might try this next year". Every store I have been to except Annerley in Brisbane (which is a flagship store complete with a burger bar and CYT Breakfast) the buzzers have never worked from day one. The longest I have ever waited for a CYT burger was 20 minutes but that's because they had about 6 orders before mine to be made and they use a dedicated grill that is different to the others. I don't see the issue with them not having a dedicated crew member for CYT handing out the food as a lot of the time they might not have orders so if they are designated to that role only it doesn't leave them much to do. As part of that role they were also in charge of the dining room making sure that it is clean. But every time i've been to a store as soon as I have left my table after ordering they pretty much straight away clean up the table. As far as the chips not being served in the metal baskets it's not really a big loss. In fact my local store and a few others that I have been to lately have actually been serving the fries (and sauces if you order them) in white ceramic bowls. In particular the loaded fries when ordered with CYT have actually had real bits of bacon chopped up instead of the fake bacon they came with when first launched. I guess when there was all the hype they thought they needed dedicated staff just for delivering food, and whilst it has been very successful I don't think it was really needed except maybe in peak times. Clearly McDonalds have realised this and deployed the dedicated CYT staff into other areas of the store to assist in between delivering orders. Anyway, back onto the topic of theme park food instead of McDonalds

  8. I'm a fast pass addict but didnt think it was needed at universal singapore. Asians seem to have an aversion to thrill rides.... too scary? I went in September and the longest wait was for battlestar galactica on the cylon side and it was only 40 minutes. Mummy was 10 minutes so did it a few times and Jurassic Park was 20 minutes. Rest were practically walk ons. The park is pretty small and you can walk laps of it rather quickly , it is well signed with wait times on all rides so you can just skip a ride and come back if you think the line is too long. A whole day here is plenty of time to get everything done a few times over I stuffed up and missed waterworld though which i regret It's a good little park.

  9. Yes! Have been there and it was well worth it ?? I went to The Flying Cock last night in Fortitude Valley. It came with a massive serve of chips & sauce. $18 for the lot. @joz This is what the chips should look like ??
