  1. I believe I'd already decided it was going to be a churro wagon, thank you. So that plus the track, I think it's safe to say "ChurroChase" confirmed.

  3. But Ninja, we all know they added a new rollercoaster on Boxing Day! Why would you add another one the next year? It's such a unique and amazing new addition and a completely different experience to other rides at the park! (Although it does remind me a bit of that Cyclone rollercoaster, I wonder what happened to it?)

  5. What, we're getting Leviathan clone? Steel Dragon Wagon is going in the parking lot, making a fast turn in Logan and then heading back to the park.

  8. ^Except for the lawn on the opposite side of the entrance to Green Lantern, as I proposed months ago - but I do think the western area is likely going to see an expansion of some sort....

  13. It's all getting real now! I'm going to assume we'll probably hear an official announcement on the ride in the coming weeks now that work has started.

  14. At MW now. Plants are starting to be removed (2 workman are doing this at the moment). There is a forklift and about a dozen workman who were standing outside the show stage, have just entered it. All doors are open to the show stage.

  15. Why don't you read all the bad comment about Cedar Point for putting in their Dive Coaster Valravn. There are tones of comments saying it looks so tame and a shitty design and so on…. Even reading TPR thread on Cedar Point has had a lot of negative complaints for them putting in a dive coaster. Yet I see nothing wrong with it. I hate that people complain about having 4 B&M's in ONE PARK! Yet in Australia we can't even get one.

  16. Trying to put comments in Mark's mouth? Yeah, totally agree that that area is screaming out for an attraction. The only problem is that it would cost a lot more to build something incorporating the old castle site and lake area. My wish list so far is: Gerstlauer Family Coaster - something akin to DLP's Big Thunder Mountain but going over the water as opposed to under. (750 pph) Zamperla Hydrolift - Adventure World needs a river raft ride. These things are popular with people of all ages and the Hydrolift comes with a tower that I'm sure they could design into a new castle. (660 pph) Zamperla Flume Ride - It would be great if they could incorporate it into the lake area. They could even use the old paddle boats loading platform as its station. It would be cool if it went around the old Castle island. (1200 pph) Just a few of my thoughts. Of course, the ideal would be to have a combination of a couple of these over the next ten years.

  17. the only park on the gold coast that needs a new roller coaster is dreamworld . VRTP parks already have roller coasters i wish thay would start thinking outside the box and add some non roller coaster attractions

  18. Could the building demolition be just for those smaller western-style buildings/facades next to the show stage? I would also be a bit disappointed to see the show stage go, only because I know how much Village likes to re-purpose existing buildings for new indoor/dark rides, rather than go to the expense of building entirely new ones. I understand the show stage is too small for a traditional dark ride, but it could always be extended (as I believe Scooby was when it was converted from Gremlins). Also, it could surely fit a themed compact coaster -- something along the lines of the Dark Knight coaster at Six Flags. As I've said before, this would also solve any noise issues. Regarding any potential new coaster - lift hill please! I am not a fan of the intensity of launches, plus Superman is such a famous launcher already. And Australia needs a massive, suspenseful lift hill!
