  1. Let me enjoy this moment @reanimated35 haha

  2. They could turn MDMC into a horse racing ride. I've ridden a horse 2 times and both times I just wanted to get off.

  3. Well, everyone get your last look at the original TOT Pod, its probably on its way to the scrap heap. A shame really. With the stand near the Tailspin, my memory is of it being a snack stand (the old park maps also show a Knife and Fork at the location),

  4. I'm thinking... maybe adding VR to MDMC will also involve a massive revamp - new, comfy trains, proper theming, the lot. Dreamworld have been doing great revamping their rides lately (HWSW/Wipeout) so I hope this continues.

  5. Update for Sunday 21st. (and I know, that's ages ago now but I haven't had a chance to upload these photos) Just a note; all photos have been resized to 640x480. I can upload higher resolution photos if requested. Tiger Island Update: Mesh is up ready for the rockwork at the area entrance; otherwise nothing notable (that I noticed at least). According to the map posted in Tiger Cub Kindy the area directly in view of the below photo will be the new Tiger Cub Kindy and Sumatran Viewing Enclosure; however, nothing has been done for either of these two enclosures yet, and there's less than a month before the September school holidays. We also have our first view of the façade of the new F&B outlet, which according to the Ardent FY Report, will feature chinese oriented cuisine. Also, I hope they do something to blend these buildings in with the surroundings, such as a Kung-Fu Panda related façade on this building; General Update: Tower of Terror car is in the Graveyard, and Reef Diver has disappeared - doubt it's gone into storage now, after sitting there for two years. Pieces of SpongeBob FlyPants theming has appeared along with other items that look familiar but I just can't seem to work out what they were from. (and there's the Dora Explorer Sea Planes top piece) Below is the aforementioned FlyPants theming, and the other items I don't recognise. Below is the shrimp/prawn that used to be located on the GameSite building at the entrance to Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness; but there are no plans for this arcade to disappear, so don't get too excited. As I mentioned in the Ardent FY Thread, Motocoaster's second train has been gone for about three weeks (at least). ...and the Motocoaster Test Seat was removed a few weeks ago as well. (After someone mentioned that was the only thing the ride was doing correctly) It's a stretch but could this have anything to with VR? Motocoaster theming is still just as faded and ugly as ever. I hope this all gets updated and replaced soon. Giant Drop entry is getting some love; while Giant Drop West (?) was no where to be seen. While in other news the Tree Kangaroo enclosure re-build in the Aviary is almost complete. Tower of Terror broke down; and Motocoaster was 'testing' at the same time which allowed me to get the photos below. and does anyone know what this building was used for, and if it has any use now? (It's the building located behind Tiger Cub Kindy, next to Tail Spin and GameSite)

  6. Yeah, I know, but it is usually on the transfer track... and it hasn't been.

  7. I found these new images: It reveals that the brand name for a Tantrum Alley/Tornado hybrid is WorldALLEY. It also shows how The Perfect Storm will look compared to Funnel Web - a slight colour difference can be noticed but they are still very similar. I believe it also confirms that the 1st Tornado of the Tantrum Alley portion of The Perfect Storm will be open. It is difficult to tell so I would be interested to know if other forum members agree? Given the 2nd image shows the land contours, does this confirm, for The Perfect Storm, that there will be no built-in enclosed theming like I speculated (above) or would any theming (including any built-in/enclosed) still be kept secret as @AlexB suggested (below)?

  8. NO! Actually I was trying to find the actual 100,000th post but they're not numbered like they used to be. I can however now see that your post was 128,063 Actually, this was post 100,000. Any what a worthwhile post it was

  9. I think we all got that it was a joke bladex. A over-used, out-of-date and unnecessary one...

  10. I'm so certain that they will, I'd put money on it lol. The theming on either side of the white frames clearly cuts off abruptly, and there's a spiky bit to match the themed one next to it. so undoubtedly there are bits/covers that will slot over the top and give the ring a perpetual look, once they have finished doing the wiring or whatever needs doing inside the top part of the ring. ETA: Coincidentally enough whilst looking at that photo I took above, I realised there was some tiny writing on the frame and went in for a look. Thank God there was someone there who thought to point out which side was which and avoid a backwards ring situation ? (Ahh, I love the zoom on my camera ❤️)
