At the risk of derailing the topic - Sorry I didn't see the need to start a new topic to discuss this, but feel free to move \ delete if you think appropriate Mods. Is there a reason? Yes. Take a look at your profile http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/profile/32204-ashhole157/ It shows the posts you have made, and the reputation given to those posts. The few posts you have there with positive reputation are where you've made a witty, harmless, or a genuine contribution to speculation and discussion - for example your suggestion that Clive Palmer purchased VRTP after learning of the dinosaurs at WNWS. Then theres the negative ones. There's a lot so i'll try and pick out the most demonstrative: This little gem garnered you a -8 from a wide array of the Parkz demographic. Your reply was to a person called @www worker 2.0 - a person who from past history on the boards appears to be a park employee of some standing, who has shared limited information with us previously that has turned out to be correct. Further - we all well know that employees of the park corporations are usually bound by NDA (non disclosure agreements) that could at best lose them their job and at worst see them prosecuted if they divulge things they aren't allowed to... so this "confidential information crap" as you call it is actually a pretty serious condition of employment. We are lucky enough that cryptic clues, vague descriptions and teasers make it on here well before it is publicly known. Be happy with what we're getting. (side note - i don't consider WWW's post to be an 'i know something you don't know' it was definite information of an announcement to be made shortly - and wasn't waving it in anyone's face that he knew something we did not... simply building hype. Another: You got a -10 here. You're putting the parks down for not announcing something, yet the parks have been teasing info for months both for doomsday and for the coaster. The parks have no obligation to release anything until they are ready. Your sense of entitlement is likely what scored you so low here. We all want them to tell us what is coming, but whether we agree with it or not, the parks have their own marketing teams and marketing strategies, and there's usually a reason for announcing \ not announcing something - take Sea World WILD for instance. I don't think I need to point out your worst post - but I will, gaining a -19 so far for your post of coaster track purportedly making its way down the pacific highway. Now - let's just assume for a moment that you didn't fabricate this yourself and you genuinely believed this 'mate' of yours - the parkz members here tore the picture to shreds pointing out so many reasons why it was a fake \ false description. I'm sure some of us here consider that you posted that deliberately - and I am included in that group. Unfortunately your current -61 reputation isn't doing you a lot of favours in that regard, and you're probably unlikely to be able to convince many of us otherwise. A name like 'Ashhole' whilst i'm sure is probably a clever play on words with your real name (most likely Ashley) - it only serves to further depreciate your value here - to the point I saw one member earlier refuse to use your nickname in referring to one of your posts as they felt it was offensive (despite being obvious it isn't, but is close to it) In summary - stop being a dick. Its ok to have an opinion but be prepared to justify that opinion, especially when called on it. Don't try to downplay dick moves by claiming you were sleepwalking or similar (others have tried and failed). If you're going to post something controversial - like calling out the parks for being shit on announcements in the face of them running very successful back to back campaigns for doomsday, frightnights, and no doubt #UnnamedCoaster#1 in the near future, think about the reaction you're going to get. Few people on Parkz survive with negative reputation - POP with a whopping -249 from 482 posts and Clayton with -108 from just 26 posts are both either banned, or exiled or otherwise don't come by anymore (thankfully)... ...and guess who comes in third? YOU. -62 from just 16 posts. So before you start thinking that almost 7000 other people are rude (granted most are inactive but you said everyone), take a look at the common denominator - you... and think about what you are doing to cause the negative attitude towards you.9 points

People like that shit me. Why call in and try win a prize you don't want just so you can sell it. Takes away from someone who may have truly loved it but couldn't afford to buy tickets from winning.5 points

Absolutely agree. I've won things on the radio before, and then realised afterwards that I couldn't go \ had other plans, and subsequently arranged to either: relinquish them so the station could re-give them, or given them away to friends \ family online on a first-come basis. Selling them is immoral. It didn't cost you anything, why should you profit from it? I'd fully support the park trying to identify the seller (or the buyer) and cancelling the tickets or invalidating them in some way.3 points

I don't usually feed trolls, but Leto portrays a very different joker than previous incarnations of the character. Ledgers' performance will be recalled for decades and rightly so, but Leto's performance, in limited screen time was admirable and much more to my liking than Nicholson's comic take on the role.3 points

My god the fake photo was bad enough, but 24 bloody replies Incidentally, if you see a photo, have doubts about its validity, do a reverse image Google search. This particular photo was taken from TPR http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=17442023 points

I would love if somebody got into a negative reputation Parkz would automatically place a ban period before they could post again.2 points

It looks good, although Helix & Blue Fire both look better IMO.2 points

Aww, thanks for the support guys ❤️ Hopefully I'll find something else soon. I gave myself the day off today to try to de-stress a bit, especially since I got barely any sleep last night. Tomorrow I'll be jumping into the job hunting when I'm feeling a bit better. Thanks Brad. I wish, haha! ?? Aww, its ok @Zanstabar. The water's getting warm, so you might as well swim ?1 point

@Theme Park Girl You have done so much for these forums - there is no need to apologise as you have already contributed invaluable information. Good luck with everything1 point

No worries @Theme Park Girl, take all of the time you need. Good luck finding a new job1 point

I don't think you couldn't have worded it better Alex, I think the admins on here will agree with this but your attitude stinks and nobody on here is putting up with it. If I was in the same situation as you at the moment, I would change my attitude for the better before my reputation on the site/community gets worse. I always give new members a chance before I judge them if they are good contribution to forum, unfortunately for you we judged you so quickly but at the end of the day there's only one person who is responsible for this and that's you1 point

Maybe given them a 5 post leeway, if they are on a negative total after that they are exiled. If a brand newbie makes a poor first post they deserve a chance to redeem. Haha. If you haven't learned after 5 posts how things fly then you're out.1 point

To get your heart pumping a bit. Here is the Mack Rides coaster which will open in 2018, at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_w9tVlgzAu01 point

That looks mint! However i dont think it would be the same as MWs coaster because they already have a launch. It would seem weird if they added another launch in my opinion. Only time will tell.1 point

@Brad2912 Why don't you tell him where it's going? Instead of keeping it to yourself. I thought we came here to share information.1 point

This is true although prices change as you get later in the month. I believe in the first few nights the Panic Rooms last year were either around $40-$50, but by the last night they had gone up to $80. If you look at the pricing for this year, GA starts at $30 and then goes up to $50 by the final night. Same with the UTT Starts at $139.99 and goes up to $169.99 for the final night.1 point

Yeah I'm a big Star Wars fan, and know a few cosplayers who do it every year, but have never been to the event. Maybe next year. Also, if people are ashholes on this forum and are annoying you, remember: http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/ignore/1 point

Also why is that not Mack track? It looks more like Premier or the newer Vekoma-style track to me. Just saying, if you want people to stop being 'rude' to you, this has basically eliminated all chances of that.1 point

Image shown is what the park really needs and a shame there doesn't seem to be any plans to actually build it.1 point

I think they might have encountered a problem with the big drop at the end, the water isnt actually coming down the tracks. It was bone dry when i was there yesterday.1 point

As long as credit is given, no problems at all. This forum has always worked that way. We don't try and pass off others efforts & work as our own, but we share what is open and available for all to see on social media platforms. If people are too prescious and don't like that occurring they should maybe keep their photos on their computer rather than putting them in the public domain1 point

Ok stop right there. Skeet has now been show to be 100% wrong. Earthworks has nothing to do with new roller coaster. I am going to be out on site most of the day and I need a computer to open the files up correctly. I'm looking at people like Alex, Brad and Richard to to go to skeeta's source and reveal the great findings. Richind get your keyboard oiled up I feel another story coming on.1 point

I stand corrected then. I was under the impression they were actually planning on keeping that carpark, and in fact finally sealing it off due to the increasingly workload in the studios and Commonwealth Games usage. Obviously was given a bum steer on that one haha Id take it, great ride length, would like another inversion or two, but looks a treat0 points

Come on surely you could tell us more about the slide tower if there just going to announce it next month. Never understood this confidential information crap.-1 points

Is the smoke working on the ride? Or it like storm coaster?-1 points

This thread is like sharks all going in at a dead whale. This pic has sent us all into a frenzy. My thoughts, could the mack boxes be for sdsc and premier/vekoma are doing the new coaster? A collaboration build? Worlds first dual track manufacturer coaster? Mack does a dark ride portion-premier does the roller coaster/intense bit?-1 points
