May wanna lose the whiny "why has no one answered my silly question so I'm gonna re-post it again just to annoy everyone" act. Working hours depend on many things including but not limited to, council approvals/restrictions as part of the DA, the operating structure of the company in charge of the build, individual contractor contracts, needs of the business (MW), construction timelines, weather... My guess would be that you'd probably see something happening on a Saturday but unlikely a Sunday, but that's a guess, and is no more accurate than a guess you could have made yourself..4 points

Honestly, please stop being impatient. Be thankful you've been given so much and take a look at what updates we're getting in other threads - Fright Nights, the lego store, everything. Those taking photos, TPG, Ninja, themagician, Janine, and everyone else I'm forgetting, they've all been hard at work trying to update us on everything happening at the parks so please stop bugging everyone about something where there's probably nothing new since the last photos. Stop acting like a kid and if you're so impatient go take some photos yourself (and don't post them here because I'm pretty sure there'd be nothing different from what we've seen).3 points

I honestly think people that go to fright nights and go out of their way to show how not scared they are and act too cool for school and brag about it are just losers. Why go? It's just ruining the fun for everyone else. Yay you didn't get scared mr/miss cool how friken sad for you.2 points

The secret is you won't need to apologise if you think before you post. Literally 2 posts before yours someone asked a stupid question and had 8 negative votes, so you had an option then (with some forewarning on how those type of questions are received) on whether to post your question, and you still jumped right onboard the stupid question train with him...2 points

This is that footing nearest the road... definitely part of the ride: http://www.parkz.com.au/photo/12256-2017_roller_coaster_construction/gallery/sort/newest/location/ride-2445/offset/19 While I think a lot of this micro-analysis of individual footing locations etc. might end up on the money, beyond a pretty general idea of track direction I think a lot of this is clutching at straws. It's connect-the-dots with maybe half the dots and a line that can do just about whatever it wants between the dots. At this point I'm not sure what is more impressive: that we've generated 38 pages of discussion about this without knowing the ride type, or that after 38 pages anyone that does know has kept their mouth shut.2 points

More photos - If nothing has happened, why post more? It's like tuning into a TV drama 'series' only to find it's an old episode put on repeat. More information - We have to rely on VRTP for that and currently, it is a waiting period of just over a month before any kind of new information. Keeping the discussion going? - Simply speculate about what you think is going to happen. Just don't post or ask for updates that consist of information we already know or photos of things that haven't changed. Like I said before, it is probable that until early March next year at the latest, we will only see footings being placed - not track parts, not theming, not landscaping - just footings. Apart from trying to guess where the track is going to go, footings placement is boring. When track installation begins (like I said, probably March at the latest), daily photos will be a guarantee as that happens pretty quickly - it will be over before you know it as it is the most exciting time of the construction period (apart from any announcements). Footings placement, however, photos are only needed occasionally when heaps of new footings are placed over a period of time. We don't need a photo dedicated to every single new footing - they nearly all look the same. You all should consider yourselves extremely lucky how frequent the updates are on Parkz now. Back in 2005, when SE was being constructed, we had to wait months before another SE construction update and like they should, they only occurred when things changed. Just take a look at the dates of SE's construction photos in SE's photo gallery and you'll see how long we had to wait back then as forum photo updates weren't common at all back then. That's why I posted my guess construction timetable for you all - so you will know approximately when something significant will happen. I think everyone here would agree that this talk of more updates/photos is getting extremely tiring & we still got just over 14 months maximum to go of construction. If there is some simple advice for you, it is be patient - photos will be posted when something new happens - and if you want to 'keep the discussion going', then speculate - just don't ask for new photos/information constantly (after a 2 week+ gap may be fine) or post news/photos that reveal nothing new.1 point

Just letting everyone know that the large funnel on The Perfect Storm has been confirmed by the park as being definitely enclosed. They have described it as a "work in progress" and its scheduled to be completed after the school holidays. Final theming of effects are still in the process of determination with all internal and external theming plus the capping of the Tornado slated to be finished prior to the Christmas holidays. I am guessing that the inclement weather over the off season put their timeline out more than we expected. However, this is good news that the final Tornado will be enclosed- it certainly makes much more sense to provide a different ride experience to that of the nearby Funnel Web. The lack of a viewing platform for The Perfect Storm pretty much confirms their intentions regarding this anyway.1 point

Perhaps because literally nothing has changed. Does anyone think in the last couple days a whole bunch of track and a giant banner saying My Little Poney Togo Flying Coaster appeared on site?1 point

Ouch. Poor review. The ride isn't made to be intense or thrilling, just fun. It's meant to cater to both younger thrillseekers and older ones accustomed to crazy intense rollercoasters, and I think it achieves that perfectly.1 point

Look at you all still discussing this "roller coaster". Remember "Wild"? It moved to Movie World instead. This new development is all for the 'Big Cat Exhibit'.........1 point

Excellent- thanks for the info Theme Tendo!! This a great addition to this small park. I have never visited but it is certainly now on my radar to do so - it is definitely a family friendly park and my 2 young children will love it!! What is interesting is that the original Facebook post stated "few new attractions coming" It certainly looks like that there could be more announcements coming our way soon regarding new attractions.1 point

Hahaha Why is everyone hating on @Smeg. We all know deep down that we want the latest pics and info regarding the coaster, and the person that trys to keep the thread and discussion going gets abused. I dont get it lol0 points

I went to tonights FN, and had a great night, and surprisingly wasn't as sacred as what I have been in previous years. But I do have a mixture of positive and negatives from tonight. Didn't arrive at the park until 5:45, and had no issues getting in, and quickly made our way up to the front of Main Street. Thought the opening act for the beginning of the event was pretty good, bit different from previous years with starting with the guitarist. From there we headed through the Apparitions Precinct, which despite being only a small area, was really well done and the two guys were providing plenty of scares. Probably my favourite precinct, shame they didn't use the whole alley way, or spreader into the AA courtyard, that would've really added to it. From there we headed to the Dusk till Dawn Maze. Dusk till Dawn Maze: The queue was only about 15 minutes, as we were one of the first to get to it, and it did seem for most of the night this queue was relatively short. Having not seen the show, I didn't really know what to expect, and I did think the maze was rather underwhelming. Most of the scare actors were there in view and just walked back and forth. Despite there being a number of good spots that couldn't been used to their advantage. And it did seem relatively short too. Unfortunately this was my least favourite maze of the night. 5/10 We then headed for Friday the 13th. I will make one comment here, that it was great to see MW using more of the park for this FN. Using the WWF space and having two ways to get to the mazes out the back made the flow through the park much better. Friday the 13th Maze: The queue was about 25 minutes for this maze. This for me was one of the scariest mazes I've been through at FN last year, and was one of my all time favourites. This year however it fell a little flat for me. All of the major scenes were still there, but they all felt too shortened. From remembrance, the cave scene with Jason charging towards you. But this year it just didn't have the same impact. The maze was still well put together, and had some great scenes, but was a little disappointed. 7/10 Conjuring 2: This was the maze I was most nervous about going through, as I expected it to have some big scares in it, and I was right. This was the longest queue, being about 45 minutes, and it just seemed to keep going. I thought as soon as you entered the sound stage you'd start the maze, but nope, you walk to the other side. But that provided a pretty good build up, with the news reporter over the speakers, and the posters. And throughout the whole time queued in there it was non-stop screaming from inside the maze. There were really great scenes in the maze, one of the most memorable wad the kitchen scene, really well done and quite intense. The scare actors were great and hid in some really good spots, such as the one who's above you. The sounds really added to it, making it a great maze. 9/10. We rode SDSC, and then passed by the Gothic Hall precinct, which never had anyone actually performing on it, except one time, for about 5 minutes. The rest of the time it was just pre-recorded music. I remember last year always seeing performers there. We then went down Main Street, passing the Day of the Dead precinct, which wasn't anything special to be honest. From what I saw there was probably only about a dozen scare actors in the whole of Main Street, which was rather disappointing, as I remember there always being tonnes, and the smoke was really thick, and it was much darker so people got some really good scares, but there wasn't really that this year. The guys with the chainsaws are always great, as well as the ones with the knives. I wish they had the guys that would slide around on the ground again. And passing through the Halloween precinct, which was also fairly disappointing. Last year the Zombieland he precinct went all around the fountain and it was great. But this year it was just on the grassed areas. We made our way to the final maze, Wyrmwood. I'll also add here that the panic rooms were running tonight. It was a shame that there weren't scare actors in the fenced alley up the back to mazes, as they always used to get some great scares in the 'Zombie Alley' to the sound stages. Wyrmwood Maze: We queued for about 30 minutes for this maze, and wow what an improvement on last year. This maze was great, and had so many good scares. That strobe lighting flashing at the start really messed with you, but really added to it. All the scenes were really good, and the scare actors did really well and provided some great scares. Especially in that last scene. I think something they could add, as there are a cars in a couple of scenes, is have their horns go off, like the scene in the Wolf Creek 2 maze, to me that would just add that something extra, and provide a good scare. 9/10 There were a few disappointments this year, but as always you can see how much effort the park and designers put into the mazes, but some things fell a little flat. I don't know if its because of the construction throughout the park, or delays with maze/precinct designs. What they did well, was really great, and really added to the night. But those few things, mainly lack of scare actors in some areas, was a shame. But I still highly recommend that anyone who's gone in the past to go, and hopefully some minor things are sorted for the remaining nights. Overall I'd give the night a 7.5/100 points

They were there doing it last night as well. When I first entered MW last night, one of them slid up to me, expecting me to be like everyone else jump out of the way in fear. I didn't. Which ended in him subtly crashing into my leg and a bunch of nearby people laughing. Awkward moment, haha.-1 points
