So, LEGO store sneak peak time. It's an impressively massive space that's quality as hell. So much to look at and when the park surrounds it with its new Food & Bev offerings (still in construction) it should be a great little addition to the park. Honestly no complaints here. Looks nice, presents well, good stuff. If you want to see more photos, there's a few more here, but the key ones are below.3 points

@YLFATEEKS Hey that was pretty mellow by my standards of late Just making the point that it's going to be hard to cool down at Sea World with a water ride closed in summer and no bubbles in the beer. #wherehavethebubblesgone2 points

@joz I don't think you should get started again. A cup of lemon grass might help.2 points

Road Runner Rollercoaster was the 2nd ride to make it into Parkz All Stars Aussie Theme Park. Escape from Madagascar is the 2nd ride turned into paperclips. Parkz All Stars Aussie Theme Park line up 1: Jet Rescue 2: Road Runner Rollercoaster. I know everybody has been checking in every 5mins to see who will battle next and the wait is now over thanks to @Santa07. @Santa07 gave us a selection of 3 but I thought I would stuff it up and add one more.. It’s time to battle! which one will be left standing?1 point

I noticed this in the video as well. Isn't this Rail Rider, and what is the thing sticking out the back of it for? And also, Bounty's didn't have an ugly paint job in those days. Was not a fan of the purple, yellow and red the ride had towards the end. It looked like something out of The Wiggles.1 point

I did smile when Bountys revenge was advertised as the big ride. I had a couple of observations. when did the mini beach in front of the castle get filled in? Also, was water mountain a free for all in terms of how many people could ride without a time delay?1 point

Aha! I can answer BOTH those questions! Ferrari World - we went when it opened and found it dire. The Formula Rossa (fastest coaster in the world) wasn't working, and back then they didn't publish which rides were/weren't working. It is supposed to have improved since. If you've got a stopover then definitely check it out, but I don't think it's a park that would keep you entertained for long (though this is from our experience, where out of 4 thrill rides at the time, only one was open). There are other parks in the UAE to do (can't recall which but a new one has just opened), and getting to Ferrari World is an hour's drive from Dubai to Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. PortAventura vs Disneyland Paris... hmm, good question. You say you're already in France. Basically, you should probably know what a Disney park is like. PortAventura is probably more like a mix between Universal and Six Flags, in that they've got nice theming and good, big thrill rides. Can't really help you there as the parks aren't similar enough. Do you want a Disney park, with all that entails (not many big thrill rides, though Aerosmith and SMM2 are pretty mean), or a more extreme park? Both may well have long queues depending on when you go.1 point

I wonder what SW will charge you for a Fast Pass with one ride running.1 point
-
Probably the same reason why it keeps tripping itself frequently. A somewhat complex ride which also has the added complexity of being a water ride to deal with.1 point
-
@MickeyD What's the issue? I'm sure you will find plenty to do over the 6 weeks it's down. I've been told the beer is good.1 point

So SW is basically only going to have 1 ride operating.. err pass!1 point

I think this is primarily it, and it's the thing that everyone seems to be in agreement on despite this debate going around in circles. The problem faced by Sea World is some of its infrastructure is pushing 40 years now. No doubts that huge amounts of money are sunk each year into things that guests never see. Plenty more into things that guests see but don't get anything tangible from. No question it's a huge and thankless undertaking, because no one really cares about a replacement footbridge or a new kitchen. Parts of Sea World that have been replaced, rejuvenated or well maintained are looking sharp. Other parts less-so, and right now there's a few too many conspicuous reminders of old attractions, dead ends and just tired or unused portions of the park. That's not saying anything of the convoluted mess of paths, tunnels and bridges that that entire middle section of the park has become. The most promising aspect of the closure of Viking's Revenge is fixing this finally. A friend who's not a theme park type summed up Sea World perfectly on a recent visit: "Everywhere you go it looks like you're in a backstage area looking out into the park."1 point

" The concrete needs to cure before support columns can be attached, hence such a large gap between when they're poured and when we'll see the roller coaster take shape. " If this was true imaging how long a building would take to go up.1 point

Wow you're giving SW to much credit. We will only be waiting for 6 more laps around the block. I was going with the iron ore still hasn't been mined yet. When my family was over last Christmas and I took them to MW I deliberately told them the wrong time to meet up for stunt driver. “Oh what a pity we missed the last show” Saved a lot of embarrassment on my part. How can Village put on a great show at Outback Spectacular and deliver garbage at MW? You imagine if the stunt driver people ran the show at Outback Spectacular. It would be 2 horses trotting around in circles while you ate your dinner. "Encore, Encore"1 point

I've said it to myself before and I will say it again. Village is in a holding pattern and they have been caught off-guard. I would have thought with all they bad reviews village got last Christmas period they would have rectified the problems. Which brings me to the holding pattern. SW doesn’t know which way to move because they are waiting on the casino. MW cabin approval was slow. MW is waiting on a slow-moving car park approval before they move on the hotel. MW big thing was Doomsday and it was fenced off. Carnival was rushed and underdone. Gosh, thinking about it the list could go on and on. It’s a wonder anybody turned up. I forgot the flat beer. Who the hell thinks it’s ok to sell flat beer.1 point

That whole area in MW has become a bit of a coaster ally so another one would fit nicely.1 point

I think this topic would have only worked if a poll was added. I don't think MW have any immediate plans for it. If they had plans for it, they would have finished the earthworks in this area first before closing off every side. What I want there is a different porky: For the hotel to work I think Village need to manufacturer some night life within that area. I don’t think having AOS and TG is enough.1 point
