Another track piece is being added as we speak ππ12 points

Part of me doesn't want to leave because I wanna see more pieces go up π In that case I'm definitely offended π12 points

For you @Skeeta...you don't need to steal this one haha π And thus concludes TPG's rolling coverage of the Hypercoaster construction for today, as I am now home and have to head to work πππ @LORD_Noodle I don't think Movie World has announced anything more specific than it just being a September opening. But I dare say they will probably aim for it to be ready to go for the school holiday period!7 points

Here's an better view of what we have so far with this Hill, with a surfside bus thrown in for good measure haha π7 points

I'll just leave this here.... MW contacting Mack and Lewa Adventure π π5 points

At this point I don't care about an announcement or themeing. Seeing construction progress and us guessing what-goes-where is a very good distraction.4 points

Sorry in case people don't know it's dark at night and it makes it hard to see. The gangway I mentioned has turned out to be stairs. Photo stolen from the real TSPN4 points

I agree @Inverted. The current track is twisting right and climbing towards the turnaround, so possibly leading into the altered version of Flash I posted above. Also a very rushed hack job to visualise it in Planet Coaster. Looking north from the Top Golf/Entertainment Rd area back towards the MW carpark:3 points

Here's a couple of shots i got this afternoon. And got to finally meet someone from the parkz community today @Theme Park Girl3 points

I think we're looking at 54, 56 and 57 here. Notice the triangular plate on the piece on the right, suggestive of a support mount. Photo @Theme Park Girl Really excited to see the exit of the element come together, hoping 57 can give a bit of airtime3 points
-
55 looks to be the crowning piece of the element. Don't you hate it when you both respond at the same time @rummy We need you have 60sec to delete this post option @Richard.3 points

Damn it's looking good. And despite being a bit unsure about the colour, I really think it was a great choice and really does make a statement out the front of the park. And despite this being the only part of the coaster constructed, it really gives an idea of the large scale of this coaster. One thing that I can't get my head around still is that if the coasters lift hill does reach a height of over 61m, then it will be the same, if not taller than Batwing Spaceshot.2 points

Don't be offended @djrappa was too busy waving to TPSN2 points

Does not appear to have any support connection brackets for this piece of track...2 points

@Ryande16 What makes you think Mack was reinventing the wheel with this coaster? If 54 is z, I think A & B will be closer together. (We will soon find out). @Smeg Can't we ask questions?2 points

The guy who made that no limits layout is pretty accurate so far, as per the below screen shot of the section that is currently being constructed1 point
-
Even with an announcement I doubt you will be told a layout. You might learn what they are going to call it but would you really care if they called it The Pink Poodle?1 point

In that regard, @rummy, I've been thinking a few things. 1) I can confidently match the two photos taken by @Theme Park Girl to the satellite photo. The full versions of her pics give triangulation points: The fence that is indented around a support footing outside of the fence, and the rocky drain outside the front fence (both circled orange and pointing in the direction of her photos). The rectangular concrete footings are the giveaways. Also, looking at Flash, the turnaround's supports get wider the higher it goes and turns. This would lead me to think the turnaround is a mirror of Flash's (therefore clockwise on the satellite photo), but the current track isn't marrying up to that unless it makes a tight left hand turn. Currently it's making a right hand twist above the orange machinery...1 point

The piece at the end here looks to have a connection for the larger spine. I'd guess that's for a loop, otherwise it's for something pretty cool.1 point
-
@Jakev8 haha definitely! Nice to meet you too and have someone to watch the coaster assembly with for a bit ππ1 point
-
As great as it looks, I'm pretty certain it won't be considered as that, purely because it needs to be better than the likes of Superman the Ride and Shambahla, which would be a very impressive thing to accomplish. The pics are really great, and are certainly hyping things up for me. Unfortunately, at this rate, we're going to know half the layout before we even get an announcement. So from that it would be safe to say the element is about 25m tall.1 point
-
@Ryande16 I imagine it's still in the carpark, assuming it's the crowning piece they won't need it till last.1 point
-
@Ryande16 The piece labeled 54 in that photo I think is actually 551 point

Thanks for the photos TPG! Mack officials on site, coaster starting to take shape, so very exciting!1 point
-
Yep, there's Mack officials on site supervising and assisting in the assembly βΊοΈπ1 point

I'm assuming the track on the right is the crowning piece we have been talking about. Do we have some Mack royalty in the house?1 point
-
Hey I like that you prioritized posting a shot to walking back to your car first hehe spotted!1 point
-
My reasoning is because the crowning piece turns sharply, they're not going for floaty airtime here, my guess is it'll be a fast, whippy element as opposed to a slower floaty element like the one on flash.1 point
-
Just noticed that 55 has no support mounting points, I'd hazard a guess that it will only be put in place once both sides of the element are completed. Edit: whoops ninja edited1 point

@pushbutton yes a ticket includes both parks now. WWW is now classed as a world within DW, and a ticket includes both parks. Been like since they reopened, and maybe even a couple of months before that (can't exactly remember).1 point

@Theme Park Girl The support going up in your photo is now finished and track added. Sorry, you can't tell by my photo but the new piece of track is starting to bank to the right. Also @Theme Park Girl support is behind the palm tree.1 point

Track update 1.30pm: Two more pieces have been locked into place, one added to the climb making it even taller, and a curved part down low, further to the left (as per the positioning seen in the last pic) ππ1 point
