I know the tip, that's how I access the articles, (but here's a hot tip - yesterday I went through google, and STILL got paywalled the first time. I had to close and reopen it twice before it let me in), but the posting of a news link here, without the article text inevitably gets someone going "i can't access it, it's behind a paywall" - and then cue several back-and-forth posts from people like you or me who know how to do it explaining to people how to access it through google. In the end, (for mine at least) i'd rather the article just got posted like @GoGoBoy said - plus, if the text is posted in the thread, it future proof's the thread against changed links on the external site. I went trawling back through the Kraken thread the other day, and the amount of broken links and hotlinked images that were broken was huge. As for clogging the thread, the article is precisely on topic, so I disagree it's doing anything but contributing.

Driving past it on the highway this morning, it doesn't look taller. But as you can see in these two images, depending on where you stand, makes it look smaller or taller. Happy to be wrong though. EDIT: Looking at this render of the ride, yes it is taller.

This would probably have stronger negative G-forces than Abyss though right? Superman pulls -1G, and I would think this would be similar. EDIT: woo 2000th post

So a long ride is bad?? I remember when the park signature attractions were 20 min experiences. Nowadays they are que and 2 min ride... I know which I prefer

^ 100% agree with both @AlexB and @GoGoBoy I appreciate people posting the article here as it is easier and more convenient. I do not think that it clogs the thread but brings more conversations. I think @djrappa last post clogs threads and I think at least 10+ people agree with me (based on the amount of up votes). I'm glad Dreamworld is getting some positive attention. Even though the numbers come from a free concert, some people would of done other stuff or brought food and/or merchandise within Dreamworld. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the months are; both in revenue and attendance. I'm keen to see how creative Dreamworld can get. Blindfolds at night on rides very creative .

All the notices are posted in the secret staff only walk though dark monorail ride which can make them hard to see. On topic - a little disappointed that this won't be up by the end of the year. There must be more to it than it looks as it doesn't really appear (to the untrained eye) to be something that should take another 9 months to construct. Though given the tender hasn't been listed as awarded yet, I guess it makes sense. Still, I'd hope SW is able to add something, anything, by the end of the year.

If you are joking - LOL that’s a good one. If you are serious - The logo is not for the guest in the park but for the person on Facebook whose friend just posted pictures of their day. The more logos the parks can get into a park the better chance when you post a picture of your day you have inevitable caught a logo also.

@Slick, the mindset that sees Movie World think that it's necessary to put a logo on every single picnic bench? Classic move by brands that wants to appear big... put a logo on everything.

My bad from this morning, they were actually lifting supports, and the track in the ride area I don't think was part of the airtime hill -it's too twisty. The new banner looks great, although a part of me is a little disappointed they didn't hang it off the coaster. The supports and track I mentioned above: If this piece doesn't get you excited about the ride you're not a true coaster enthusiast. There is more track and catwalk thingys in the crates behind. This is what they were working on today, the airtime here looks like it'll be insane.

Let’s get this right. Jet Rescue is the current only dry ride and it’s down for 6 weeks in the middle of winter. Creatures of the Deep is about to close leaving one more less thing to do this Christmas holidays. “NEW EXHIBIT COMING APRIL 2018: Sea Jellies Illuminated will be replacing the Creatures of the Deep indoor exhibit. The indoor exhibit will be closed from late July to commence the construction for the new attraction” And people think I drink too much Kool-Aid.

There was a mix of > Forgot I was doing this (told you it would happen) > Had other games to play > Have been busy > Have been lazy But I did make all of maybe 30 minutes progress on this the other day. Mainly just playing with the new custom billboards. This was because there's no better option. And again, I did say it was going not be 100% accurate. Also, it's taken me some time to get around to working on this park. (Also the fact I tend to leave the game running while I do other things for a while).

They just LOOK guilty. I mean, look at those damn bricks. They'd kill you and everyone you know and love.
