Been at MW for the last 4 hours. Got kicked out even though we were fine where we were after talking to other staff. Best photos I've been able to get unfortunately and phone is about to die. Joker head is vertical and has been for the past 45mins but no sign of movement yet.4 points

With the mountain being removed, it will be interesting how the track looks. I never got to go on the ride, so to be able to see it all exposed should be cool4 points

They are currently installing the missing piece. Because it's dark I have drawn it in for you.3 points

is there an unwritten rule that you can't soft open rides on a Monday??3 points

Well they're ready to roll... Showers this morning possibly delayed the erection but now it's windy as hell down here. Could be a bit too much blow for the erection3 points

If the crane is being set up, that should mean any day now we'll see movie world's biggest erection getting head.3 points

The head is now atop the coaster but unfortunately we don't have any photos to share. This is one amazing theming element!2 points

I'm sure if you asked Brooke Shields she would be able to tell you where it is.2 points

Coming along nicely. This is going to be my pick for a destination when its finished for our Punting Club end of season trip. We're all golf enthusiasts and love a good roller coaster. Never been to the gold Coast so this will certainly get us all over there. Thanks for the updates.2 points

It's actually painted. First signs of clearing for FN has started as well. Benches have gone from one side of Main St. Hero Square has gone. Flames are up. Posts have gone up for the fencing going towards the sheds as well. Hard to get photos of. Other than the alley, there are no other signs of FN coming that I could see. Probably won't see much over the next week with people concentrating more on the coaster.2 points

I've made three videos on youtube for this park so far. As of today it is the only full replica of the park made from RCT3. I started with the Green Lantern, then the Superman Escape and finished with the Arkham Asylum. all as best done as they could be made in this game/simulator. I've had the game for over 8 years and never really thought to build something like a park, or replica. So I started with DreamWorld first with the original contents of the game. Then after finding it wasn't good enough anymore, I started to look more into the Custom scenery side of it. And there and only there was where my future of my WB MovieWorld replica would begin! So here's a few pictures of the park so far, and I'll do a separate post on the videos. Let me know what you think? Even after the videos in my next post there will still be more to come!1 point

It was near the old Big Brother shop Originally you could see into the area but it has now been fenced off, (the best way to see it was to go on the Dreamworld Express)1 point

Will miss that mountain as it certainly added to the theming of the area.1 point

Another update has gone up Mine Ride Update: Thursday 14 September 2017 at 12:37pm The Mine Ride closed 11 years ago and at the time didn’t meet modern fire safety compliance standards. It also no longer fits the visual standards of Dreamworld. As mentioned, once we have removed the mountain covering the mine ride we will make an assessment as to the future use of the site. Stay tuned!1 point

Despite it being sad to go, it is great to see the park making progress, especially after all these used SBNO1 point

Dreamworld have posted this on Facebook today. Mine Ride Update: Thursday 14 September 2017 If you’re visiting us over the next couple of months you may notice we’ve started work to remove the mountain covering the Mine Ride. The removal of the Mine Ride mountain will not impact the Park’s day-to-day operations. When we remove the mountain we’ll be able to make firmer plans for the site, which could include new attractions, so watch this space.1 point

While on GL yesterday the TopGolf site could be seen and it appears that the majority of the target holes have been dug, and had what appear to be sheets of metal installed. Just googled Top Golf construction and this is an example from overseas of what I saw1 point

It's the 11th commandment: 11. Thou shalt not open Hypercoasters on day post the sabbath.* *yes it could be argued which day is actually the Sabbath, but lets not go there.0 points
