  1. Funfields has had a 'CHAT' function for almost 2 years HAHAHAHA ... and Movie Worlds website isn't even responsive so right now they'll be updating 2 websites to cover mobiles and tablets & desktops. The navigation is also very poor, experience poor, design poor, but overall it's a MONSTER of a job to re-design & re-build. So many things could go wrong especially with all the e-commerce sections, seo and migration issues. Leading up to summer would be a big risk to launch a new site. I imagine they would stage out a re-design and development in the shoulder period.

  2. ^That was in 1990s dollars. Given the current price ranges of annual passes, having a late night entry pass for much more than $5 would be hard to argue, but it would be necessary to stay open for the additional hours. If they could offer street food vans, some atmosphere \ music, and add some skill games (appropriately themed and priced) and i think they'd be on a winner... free for those who spend the day in the park (pay per use consumption for f&b and other special activities) but charge ~$20 for those who enter after 4 (including passholders?) and you'd do alright.

  3. No idea why DW doesn’t utilise it’s benefit of not be encumbered by strict evening noise restrictions... I’m going along to a private hire event tomorrow night at DW - nearly all rides open at the park until 11:30pm! why not utilise the late opening in the summer school holidays to drive some business in?? Every Friday/Saturday for instance

  4. Bumping a old thread but here is an article on the now officially dead in the water and much lamented never opening "Orphan Rocker" coaster at Scenic World. The article has an updated interview with Anthea Hammon and details the reasons why the coaster never opened. It certainly does not paint any picture of positiveness for any coaster enthusiast to hold onto for ANY coaster to open on the site. It does however , contain some new pics of the ride that have never been published to my knowledge and these some insight as to what the ride could have been had it ever opened. https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/scenic-world-md-anthea-hammon-reveals-what-happened-to-the-orphan-rocker-roller-coaster/news-story/40ddd7cf1b0e8570830ab6e67315cec8

  6. Which makes one wonder @Gazza Am I more likely to buy a drink because it's a Boost drink or would I be more likely to buy if from an unique one of a kind super dooper drink shop. If Rct has taught me anything, DW only needs to add more salt to their chips.

  7. You see the thing about Arrow coasters is that they were so well made, they never required maintenance ever. This is what led to the company's demise - nobody was buying replacement parts, and those that bought their coasters never needed to buy another one!

  8. The DC Rivals site looks great. Main site is a bit dated but I'm sure they'll get to it, it's not one of those things you can just whip together in WIX.
