Fixed it...

As one of the people in costume for this event (The GCPD officer, actually), I gotta say that the contest side of the event was a bit skewered in its selection process. There wasn't much of a 'Entry Form' frankly, the sort of just plucked you out of the crowd if you were standing near enough. As for the Adults going up against the Kids, well... its an all-ages event, and when they throw everyone into the same category, its gonna get messed up real quick. Perfect example is how on the second-last day of the event, a Lego Batman showed up in the last five minutes of the day as everyone was lining up for the competition selections, and took home $1000 for being in the park for five damn minutes, when plenty of others had been in-park, working the crowds all day. I'm honestly hoping that the next event has a bit more organisation in this regard. As for the guy who took home the first night's prize as the Arkham Knight, I know him personally also- really nice guy, and completely surprised they picked him- honestly we all were expecting them to go for the kids over us, we were just there for fun and photos. But hey, it happens... Regarding my GCPD uniform though, I assure you, I do have more costumes than just that one- though it is my flagship costume that I am most proud of for it's screen accuracy to The Dark Knight movie, hence I wear it quite often. As for wearing it for the majority of the event, that mainly falls to the fact that it is currently the only DC themed costume I own (thats due to change soon, gonna throw together Rick Flagg). I don't have many costumes, but the ones I have I make sure they're done damn well, and I take pride in all of them.

An interesting article from The Sydney Morning Herald: The article which brought this "feud" to light 5 days ago only refers to the selling of Village Roadshow Pictures, "Village Roadshow's British marketing business, its stake in the American iPic Theatres premium cinema outfit, and its Hollywood holdings" as the closest thing to John Kirby's proposed 'break up' of Village Roadshow which is referred to in the above article. Is that what is meant by "break up"? Or is it the 1st stage of the "break up"? Or would the company split in 1 go forming a new theme park-cinema-studios-only company? Or will nothing happen? Regardless, the above article is interesting enough because of it's theme park-related content.

I love how Movie World's downfall recently is always blamed on Dreamworld. People easily forget that Movie World were very close to killing people on Green Lantern.

But no one says the all the exhibitions need to be part of a “WB Showcase”. WB doesn’t own the park, VTP does and just licences the WB name, as well as licensing the Nickelodeon brand for SW who are co-producers of Dora with Paramount - so an existing relationship exists there.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was another re-routing reason for the train not operating.

Last year they did celebrate their 30th birthday, I think an exhibit showcasing the ‘best of’ from what they’ve made of that time period would be cool.

Maybe it will be a "next generation" exhibit? Everything will be on screens and there will be some lasers?

My guess is that it will be replaced by a Godzilla vs. Kong exhibition once filming wraps up, about 6 months from now.

Kong vs Godzilla is much more likely, considering it is produced/distributed by Warner Bros. Dora is by an entirely different production company (Paramount) so couldn’t be used in the “WB Showcase”.
