  1. You're always one to bang on about theming. It's fairly plain to see that they're retheming the buildings that surround Arkham courtyard to make the whole place seem like part of the asylum. The space that has the awning, and fencing around it used to be fully chinese themed. They made some changes to that area while working on scooby, and its probably prompted them to continue \ complete the look by fully immersing the area into an 'arkham' theme (which looks fairly straightforward from what i can see) Either way - you should either be cheering that they've taken the steps to retheme, or at least be optimistic about whats coming, rather than describing it as pointless.

  2. Just hid 41 45 46 posts that definitely went beyond our guidelines, including: Certain topics should not be discussed. A friendly & helpful attitude is expected at all times. Users are limited to a single account at all times. Promotion (or using Parkz to sell stuff without our consent) The moderating team follow @Richard's lead in trying to be as hands-off as possible, not because we don't care but because we're simply not interested in being adjudicators/babysitters in member squabbles. Rather, we'd like to see robust, adult conversation about theme parks, and in this case, we're here to ensure that doesn't get too weird. The message going forward from me is that when you're on here you simply try be decent human beings - no means no, do unto others, don't cause un-necessary drama etc. etc.

  3. I can also confirm that ToT II launches anywhere between 135 - 140kph. If the car isn't full it will generally launch faster or make it further up the tower. I have ridden it recently when it was only 6 others on the ride in the back row and well... it made it pretty damn far up. I really wish that when they did the conversion they spent the extra money upgrading the computers like SFMM did. I also haven't heard much about Superman in the US having any major reliability issues like ToT has either...

  4. Will @Slick I am trying to get evidence because when the judge finally asked for the evidence when one of us points to this website and all the evidence is deleted you and all of your moderators will be dragged in to this and you will probably all go to jail for attempted of cort, So unless you want all of that on your burden that’s fine with me because I really do not want all of us to be riving in jail or pain in one of your guys money because of a stupid video. So we need to think of an easy solution to all of this problem and one of us needs our account permanently deleted now you’re probably going to delete mine and I respect that decision.

  5. There is enough space in that little precinct that you could transform it from a ghost town to something quite worthy of drawing guests. The catch is to make sure the scooby evac points aren't obstructed. Quite honestly I think the solution for that whole area is pretty simple - knock out the old shop and associated structure, clearing the way for a pathway behind showstage, and past the scare sheds to West to become a permanent addition. Get a flat or two between the courtyard and west. theme them appropriately. Ensure that maintenance access to arkham isn't obstructed in this process Make sure the transition is done right Demolish the stupid raised queue platform in front of the old arkham theatre Use the theatre, and the space left by the queue platform for some sort of asylum themed outlet - perhaps to replace the old lethal shop, or even maybe as a food outlet serving treats or meals themed around an asylum (nothing comes to mind but i'm sure creativity exists that could fill the void) Carts could find a home up against the old chinatown building wall (backend of scooby queue) - again themed appropriately - potentially other outlets (hole in the wall style) could find a home here - get a 'jailhouse' (temporary) tattoo... Mugshot (greenscreen) photos, move special effect makeup... these are a few simple ideas, but i'm sure with the technology out there theres a bunch of other things you could do with the spaces.. I'm sure there's plenty of other things to go with, and i know you said money being no issue, but i'm not out to be extravagant with this, i'd like to be more realistic so they can fix this area of the park...

  6. I think the last time it was used was for a meet and greet for the Janoskian's back in 2012... I had never seen so many teenage girls in my life. They filled up the whole old LW queue, went through the alley and overflowed out in front of scooby just to get an autograph... was all good until around mid-day when all the people were too scared to go on the big rides and ALL flocked to Scooby... Had to set up the outdoor queue very quickly lol.

  7. Well, Slick... finally asks for It's not deleted... ...just hidden, so a court order would easily obtain the "evidence" CONtempt of court. Wut? Everyone reading this thread has already thought of an easy solution - it requires you to do something, however. I figured since it won't shut up, and there's more posts to hide, that this one won't matter too much... *that feeling you get when you click 'submit reply' and your post appears immediately.

  8. Marked in yellow was the pre-ride movie. I like Super-Villains Unleashed but sticking it in an alley would be more realistic. Whenever I get mugged it's always in an alley. 😎

  9. To be fair. The whole area needs a re-think-a-rooney. The most underwhelming area that MW has never been able to get right.

  10. Replacing like for like it seems more than anything. The facade has been up there since lethal weapon, i imagine a fair bit of rott and water damage makes its way into the timbers and reaches a point where it needs gutting and replacing.

  11. I finally got a ride on SDSC over the weekend and I'm lost for words. It makes one think MW purchased some tv's from JB, went to Tafe Queensland and employed the first pimple face kid doing a certificate in Graphic Design.

  12. Excellent work @19Michael96. Thanks for the update!! It looks like the Volare will meet its expected opening in late March. Its great to see a new permanent ride come to LPS at long last!! Fingers crossed this now signals the start of the previously announced $20 million ride reinvestment stage- lets hope this is carried out as planned. Bring on that often hinted at and much needed new coaster! I will be passing that way on Monday afternoon- will check and see what progress is being made.

  14. Give as many fountains as you like, I launched the ride countless times over the years that I worked there. I think I know how fast it goes.
