  1. Investigations found that Dreamworld lacked the necessary management capability and maintenance program to keep flowers alive.

  2. Only a slight delay...Volare's opening date has been confirmed as March the 24th.

  3. Rode the one at Nagashima Spa Land - can confirm, would rate it scarier than Giant Drop just because it's so mechanical.

  4. This was actually a very early days idea for MW, believe it or not and the Theme toyed around at the time was the movie "Towering Inferno". By early days I mean BATR (early 90's) This ride experience was a tonne of fun. Felt more like a ride on the 'Zipper' with the Cage like cars and how you wound up on your back before being swung back down after reaching the end of the run out. I experienced the one at 6 Flags Magic Mountain and from memory it was a super Popular ride with long lines. The freefall experience was quite terrifying. I would dearly love to see Intamin bring back this experience with a modern day look and feel.

  5. I love shopping centres that have empty shops on display for people to look at. If they just remove all the stock but let you see the empty shelves and fixtures. It's so nice.

  6. Great idea. I know when I go to an airport I like to see old, rusted, unmaintained aircraft as I walk to my flight.

  7. Your right theme park addict. Push is a dickhead, thinks he is smart but is just an immature smart ass.

  11. I know this is an old ride that isn’t manufactured anymore. But I’d love to see a 1st generation Intamin Freefall in one of our parks. Custom made to be taller and faster. I dunno why, I just find them visually appealing and interesting and would love to ride one.

  12. I was trying to give you the benefit of assuming you didn't have the necessary basic knowledge of how to recognise who a question is directed to, but you seem not to have the requisite common sense to understand that so I don't think I can help.

  13. Or anyone who was logical enough to see it wasn’t raining and stormy in the background and figure out it wasn’t from that day.

  14. Nope. It was a question directed to the person who posted the photo. Wow!

  15. It's been pouring on and off all day. Before I got the ferry to the park, there was a huge downpour that luckily didn't last by the time I arrived. Speaking of which: WEEKLY VOLARE UPDATE! There's not much to comment on honestly. Ride's pretty much complete, just a few small details here and there. There has been some work done to the entrance however. And a nice little curtain mock up has been made as you enter. So that's nice. In other news, the "Hungry Horse" cafe has received some additional theming. None of these horse look like they're heritage though; they were probably custom made for display purposes. I might enquire if the park has a new opening date for the Volare or if the background theming will be redone eventually. Doubt they'll have an answer though.

  16. My opinion based upon many years spent in both cities and speaking to many interstate and international travellers. People for the most part prefer Melbourne. They love the convenience of the trams and the straight line roads. The CBD, for example, is so easy to get around. Sydney is lovely, and the traffic is worse in Melbourne these days due to the rapid growth, but the road network it's pretty good and getting better. Sydney has beteer beaches and winter weather though, so nice and mild!! Also check this out: https://www.travelweekly.com.au/article/sydney-named-worlds-10th-worst-city-in-new-rankings/ Melbourne 2nd best! Lol sorry Sydney Hope Zagames builds this park btw!! 😊😊

  20. Is Surfrider at Wet n’ Wild an upcharge to go on or is it included in admission? Just wondering since my last time over on the GC in 2012 I believe it was an up charge along with SkyCoaster and the zip line.
