  1. It’s usually about $28 for popcorn & a drink so I guess you are really only paying $2 to jump the 6 people in the queue..

  2. Ok, stop right there. I don't even want to know.

  3. RE flexible pricing: I'd like them to do it but not tell anyone. Rock up on a day when multiple rides are closed? $20 off a day. Already paid for a ticket you're using today? Here's a thing that'll give you unlimited soft drinks. People can forgive stuff if they think you're acting in good faith. And yeah I think buy 3 get 1 free isn't the right deal. I get the idea of having a deadline to a deal to increase urgency, but I think a straight up 25% discount would do it better. If I were looking at buying a pass, the offer of 4 for the price of 3 would not be compelling to me as I don't want 4 passes.

  5. Resort World SENTOSA just announced that it will be expanding the resort with a 4.5 billion dollar expansion. Most importantly USS will be expanding in size to include A minion park feature Discpicable Me Minion Mayhem, and a Super Nintendo World. https://www.rwsentosa.com/-/media/project/non-gaming/rwsentosa/press-release/pdf/en/2019/20190403-press-release--rws-embarks-on-mega-expansion-plans.pdf

  6. 'skip the queue'. Not really worth skipping when there probably won't even be a queue because of the shitshow that is Dreamworld's attendance.

  7. They'd probably sell more if they would announce when the new seating area is opening. Surely they can get the opening date for that right.

  8. In that case unsurprisingly, I don't know anybody that eats Popcorn or Fairy Floss or Soft Drink at DW. .

  11. I'd love to see Dreamworld do flexible day ticket pricing as a permanent thing. Being able to respond to ride closures and off-peak/peak periods with varied pricing would do wonders in getting folks back into the park.

  12. DW needs to drop the the passes to $49.00 to have any real impact of driving people back into the park. That and not having a shitty shit, shit park.

  13. VRTP has got it. There aren't those date restrictions on them (Dreamworld - You only have until DEC 24 no matter when you buy it / VRTP - 365 days from your first use). Also VRTP allow 1 White Xmas, and 1 Carnivale*. The least dreamworld could do is allow 1 park after dark???

  14. It's taking all my strength not to side track the current conversation with a big rant about why the above post is wrong. I think if I can do it, we all can do it.

  15. Hell, a lot of Australian carnival rides are over 30 years old and still run great.
