  4. I too recently saw the show. I think the most mind blowing thing for me was finding out his name is actually Cosentino, not Constentino.

  6. Yay! The Wipeout is back. Thank you for the update. My friends just popped in and watched the show too. None of them have stayed or spent any money. 👍🏼 👍🏼 Raising the bar? You need a bar in the first place.. 😂 I have a top 5 for keeping guest interested in the park. 1. Don't kill customers. 2. Open SV. 3. Bring back the steam train. 4. Sack the dancers and produce a proper show. 5. More polo shirt colours. It's good the show has been a hit and skeet approves.

  8. Sky Voyager Ride Express line now up - also PSA engineering are working on it. Locker Hire got a repaint and the tiles in the toilets were cleaned. Cosentino stand in the Dreamworld Emporium. Gates installed at the entrance of the park. The train is being worked on to the left of Buzzsaw. Crowds were good at Dreamworld today with even the rides being occupied. Sometimes people aren’t riding but are just there for Cosentino, but that wasn’t the case. The ride lines were good. Everything was running and I think they’ve really mastered peak and off peak periods. When the park is dead, a lot of things around Dreamworld are turned off. Today with good crowds, most rides were running, all the fountains were working and I couldn’t identify any cost cutting measurements. Only complaint is Buzzsaw is still unreliable and was shut for the day (while I was at the park). Other than that minor inconvenience and of course the train which comes out of maintenance next month, the park is running well.

  9. Just popped in to watch the show with my son. Got in the park at 10:45 for the 11:30 and headed straight for the theatre - line was already snaking back to wipeout. The show was good, fun, high energy and just what dreamworld needed. even walking in it was the first time I’ve felt “atmosphere” in the park for a long time. The key now is how that leverage that and keep raising the bar

  10. Cue a corny joke by someone on the forum about how its dreamworld and you're supposed to use your imagination about good merchandise... followed by a boxing day countdown.

  11. It would be fantastic, but by the time they order, construct and open a woodie, would TOT2 and HWSW have more than a couple of years of life left in them?

  12. Ok shop looks like a shop. But how was the ride was it fun?

  13. I'm genuinely surprised by the success of Consentino - that's not a critique on either him or Dreamworld either, rather, I simply wasn't aware of how far reaching his fame is (chalk it up to not watching much free to air telly). I've been and checked it out and it was chockers - it's good to see.

  14. The show seems to be well received by the general public.

  15. Seems the greatest trick Consentino has done is make people appear at Dreamworld.

  16. Let’s look at this from a 4yr olds perspective. HKDL is going to blow his mind compared to Aussie park offerings. Given HK is about the same flight time as Japan and cheaper I would vote HKDL. It’s going to be a much cheaper trip and that money is better saved for when they are a big older and can experience one of the giant Disney parks and appreciate it more. Also once you’re there it’s much less of a hike from the airport into the city or Disney for a grumpy toddler.

  17. I never realised how large the parking lots are compared to the parks. Also this looks a little bit like a penis...

  18. And two more on the right. How wonderful someone is finally thinking about polos. Unfortunately, its at the park I don't hold a pass to, and they didn't have polos the whole time i did... so screw them.
