As we are about to see construction begin in Dodgems for FN on Monday I feel it’s that time of the year for discussion to begin on this event. Information that has also been mentioned that has been reported yet by anyone on here is that Bikash confirmed on PCL that there will be now five mazes this year. Having another maze added to the lineup this year is a welcoming addition 👍🏻

Wow, awesome to finally hear there will be 5 mazes. Very good move, but let’s hope the standard of them will all be high and there are improvements seen across the entire event

5 mazes sounds great, but it’s certainly more important that they’re quality mazes - something that hasn’t really been the case with recent mazes such as leatherface.

Just came from there and the ride is closed at the moment. Must be a busted laser lighting the disco room.......

From what I have read, that is the main complaint about Smugglers- the ride experience really depends on the effectiveness of the crew and the way you have to position yourself, pressing buttons to your side, while hanging on and looking forward is all pretty jarring on your back. It is probably the single most sophisticated Video Game ever built. I thought there were 2 but apparently there are 4 separate (circular) systems - each with 7x 6 seat Simulator Cars attached. Early calls are hoping they will modify at least 1 to allow for a more "auto-pilot" style ride experience that would accommodate People with special needs such as Disabilities and also those too old or too young to otherwise play the game and 'ruin' the experience for others. Considering how much testing this ride has undergone (months and months) it is going to have some massive teething problems it would seem.

How a ride can reopen after maintenance, and still have elements not working is frankly beyond me!

I think it's going to be something absolutely amazing - could be something fairly good - I'm guessing Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster is going to be revamped (properly this time) 🏰
