  1. Not sure when it was changed but the website has been updated to simply say 'Coming Soon' instead of 'April, 2024'. Village projects are cursed.

  2. Nope, it's a pretty long standing Parkz in-joke. It was for SkyVoyager originally, wasn't it?

  3. Somehow, this area of land as a construction site looks better than it did as ABC Kids World in the last couple years.

  4. For everyone’s reference, the Summer events they’ve had since 2015 are: 2015 - Beatbox 2016 - Fire Machine Night Show 2017- Can’t find/remover the event 2018 - Can’t find/remover the event 2019 - Fun House 2020 - Bluey Show & Monster Trucks 2021 - Dreamworld Memories/Cosentino 2022 - Dreamworld Circus Yes, but most of the current yearly events (including recent summer events) have happened during that time. I’d say because of all the construction that has/is happening, that’s been their focus and they are relying on that for the summer

  6. I thought I would throw this out there as an interesting observation. Every summer since TRRR Dreamworld has held a summer event, a Circus, Monster Trucks (geez these weren't the best...), the jet pack people etc.. This was clearly a way to get people in and it does seem to work. This summer it seems like Dreamworld isn't doing anything 'special' for January. I think this is Dreamworld believing the lineup is strong enough now to bring people in (and Dreamland is opening with new attractions) but I do find this interesting because it means Dreamworld now has school holiday events every break except January. I think it's a premature move personally especially at MW has Hooray for Hollywood but keen on what others think.

  8. This area looks to have turned out really nicely. Much better than letting a ride rot away

  9. It feels like it's a marketing ploy to trick interstate travelers in thinking it will opening during Christmas holidays.

  10. Nearmap says this shot is from 13th of November, but I posted an update around November 20th that showed the 13th of November and it was a lot less than what you see below.

  11. New path’s almost complete, now, and it looks a lot like it’ll lead to the castle again, so I continue to wonder what its use will be. Also, they’ve added a small new planter nearby, beside a more permanent sign about loose articles on Storm. Second train wasn’t there today. They were definitely still running just the one train, but the second one was nowhere to be seen.
