  1. It's a relocation. It was meant to be temporary\filler for scooby. It's opened much later than planned, and probably cost more too. It's not the show-stopping new attraction set to open this year. I'm quite happy for them to go skint on this thing. the best visuals are the fact that superman is all around you too - we finally get to watch SE from inside the helix as well. I don't want a bunch of themed tunnels or some shit blocking the view. If WOz turns out amazing, i'm totally ok with Flash being this way.

  2. Didn’t realise what this meant til I rocked in for the last hour of opening, they’ve actually learned from Levi & opened it for guests pre-grand opening. Actual good job, VRTP!

  4. Even just general Warner Bros. Movie World merch is super limited. There’s plenty of WB merch and as you say, general Looney Tunes and DC merch, but that’s about it. A lot of what they’ve got is good too, but it’s not related to the theme park itself, it’s all IP

  5. Image dump from today, in some form of order: Overview of Jungle Rush’s site from Corroborree: Scaffolding/work walls have gone up around the Corroborree: Images of the (soon to be) ride building: (which, basic walls have begun to go up for) And, of Jungle Rush’s track in the carpark: Plus some images of the new Vintage Cars plot in its current state (in case you were wondering, the old one is still seemingly untouched):

  6. Absolutely preposterous. They've all done their training. They've all worked a hard day on a new attraction. The last thing they're going to do is intentionally cause a fault when its time to knock off. Don't be so absurd.

  7. Forgot to post this in the chaos that was yesterday (for me), but FotWW’s castle has begun construction, as viewable from Flash’s exit.

  9. And long term that’s going to be their biggest issue. If you read through comments on their page and fan pages, so many people are warning people to not go, it’s a waste of money and/or they had a horrible experience. But also, there are people asking which park they should visit or if it’s worth going to MW right now and most people are saying don’t bother, go to Dreamworld. It used to be the other way round and it’s taken years for DW to recover, but they are starting to show signs of consistently good crowd numbers and positive customer feedback. I think MW (probably Village in general) got to comfortable and thought they had the best product (which they did for a while), but they became to reliant on that idea and their beloved attractions (Scooby, WWF, Superman and Rivals). People remember those rides the most and they’re the ones people want to ride the most, but when they’re all closed for maintenance at the same time, people see the park as almost having nothing to do and that it’s a waste of time when they can’t ride they’re favourites. DW got rid of all of their fan favourites and they paid the price for it. But now people aren’t necessarily going back because they have the best rides, but because people have a better time and there’s a lot more to do.

  10. Looks great. One day they'll have some capex to redo the Sky Voyager facade and there will be much rejoicing from enthusiasts.
