  1. My favourite part of the video was seeing Superman testing in the background.

  2. The park has officially released some of the concept artworks we’ve seen before They also confirmed in this video that you’ll enter a room and decide with coaster you want to head to. Then you follow a path (that’ll be themed to set up the story for the coaster you’ve chosen). When you exit the coasters that will take you to the main plaza where the Emerald Castle will be. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/rggNR5vh6jwzmtho/?

  5. Theming is being added to the temple structure. Looks like it's interior theming for the indoor scene Reverse view Also more track!

  6. maybe i interpreted it differently but for me, it seems like to enter the queue for the rides you need to go to the emerald city and then walk into the castle where you can choose from in there? So you will need to be in the plaza for the land to get onto the rides then you exit back into the Emerald City where you can walk back into the castle (Queue lines) and reselect what ride you want

  7. @rappa Zooming in on site plan the red line is the entrance/yellow brick road and it looks like the blue (former AA entrance) is the entry to this room mentioned in the video. Unless it’s an emergency exit?

  8. Exactly. Which is why the main entrance to the land being by Superman is ridiculous. If they used the alley way you’d get to follow the full yellow brick road, get the wow factor and then head to the left and into the ride entrances

  9. So, that maroon and grey/blue Switchback prototype seen at the Vekoma factory: Well, it was intended for Vidanta world in Mexico: Source https://coasterforce.com/forums/threads/vidanta-world-mexico-theme-park.38448/page-2

  10. It was a terrible idea, with even worse execution. Splash is a relatively intense ride (for a castle park) and this version doesn't have a villain or any tension (which is needed on a flume) - think of West as the local example and the voice lines it plays leading up to the final drop (when they're working). I'd imagine little kids would be scared shitless with that drop that comes after "Lets get you to the party". Prime example of mismatching the story with the ride layout. Just a case of a terrible IP match with the ride type, it looks like princess and the frog was shoehorned into the ride when the IP and story should be integrated ito the ride layout. The IP and the story they were trying to tell have been a much better fit for a ground-up gentle dark boat ride, I think Lilo and stitch would have been a much more suitable refit for Splash.

  11. I don’t think it’s a public holiday in Queensland

  12. Yeah. I wish they just were gonna keep using the old Model T's for the new ride and just add a shade cover on the cars. So unique to have such a sort-after car on a ride. Would be a shame to have them sit around rotting. I would rather that than scraped though. Selling them is their best option imo

  13. it certainly is, and would really benefit from a lazy river style attraction, but I agree, DW needs the investment right now - there's still a huge hole in the lineup and won't be entirely erased by Jungle Rush.

  14. I feel like WWW doesn’t get the airtime is deserves. It’s a pretty damn solid little park.
