  1. Different type of ride to Indy. Is every ride with a temple facade covering a steel shed a knock off of Indy based on your logic? Also this is the very first time this specific theme has been attempted here so unsure of what your other examples are. And even if it was a knock off with a similar ride system is that really a bad thing, 2 out of the 3 parks on the coast were built with that mantra and managed to create something special. Also theres still a good chunk of park visitors that will neither visit Disneyland or Disneysea because it is a low priority for them compared to other places. Just because people like us want to visit those parks at least once why preclude punters from a ride experience that goes around an ancient temple that’s in their backyard?

  3. The thought has never once crossed my mind that this was some sort of knock off of anything. Can you give some other examples of Parks that have copied indiana jones?

  4. Sonic will always be Sega's central IP but they are reviving some older ones at the moment. Shinobi, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, JSR and Crazy Taxi, among others. Some of those could make interesting attractions.

  6. I'm almost certain that this is the reason. Sea World is in a relatively unique position for this to occur. Sea World in San Diego literally has cages for their dining areas to prevent birds from getting into the dining areas and stealing food. So other seaside parks do have their battles and deal with things in their own ways. It's a bit of a weird look, but Sea World isn't exactly "themed" to something where the WWIAFT 'don't fit' the theme. If it keeps birds from shitting on things, I don't see it as a super big deal.

  7. I doubt this will get off the ground. How many times have ambitious projects like these been announced, only to be abandoned shorty after? It’ll be cool if it does open, but I’m not getting my hopes up just yet. Also, I personally feel like Sydney deserves a park like this over Melbourne, seeing as though Melbourne already has 4 pretty well established theme parks (plus an indoor park with Legoland) while Sydney really only has Luna Park.

  8. Dropped from $25 to $20 or $17.50 for 2 or more. $15 for passholders, this will get me most visits for sure. Appears the date booking selection has been removed although selecting a time/date is still mentioned in the terms and conditions.
