So, from what can be gathered about the land's story so far, a company called "Tasman Family Co." has decided to go on an expedition into what's assumedly going to be an Australian rainforest, where they somehow find a temple ruin from an ancient civilization (?) and decide to set up a small tourist town around it. I wonder if/how they'll include that massive gem from Earthstory's concept in there, or how they'll explain it if it's indeed an Australian forest with toucans & ruined Mayan/Incan architecture. Edit: Is there any reason Dreamworld would be related to the year 1922? Or have they based it off their seemingly random 1917 establishment year for "Tasman Family Co.", & just added on some also seemingly random (post-war) years for Dreamworld?

The Town area of the ride is apprently suposed to be a ghost town. At the end of the ride during the final chain lift its supose to make you think the mine is going to blow up with the guy screaming at you to get out. Unfortuntely this effect has been broken for over 3 years which ruins the entire part of the end storyline. I had my hopes it would be fixed by now but like much of Movie World its been left to rot.

There have been rides with stories to them namely Eureka Mountain Mine Ride, Thunder River Rapids, Big Red Car Ride etc, but i doubt you'd count. that last one haha. But yeah, I do know what you mean, this will be a big first for Dreamworld, and the first new story themed ride since who knows how long.

Or the Looney Tunes River Ride. Or Batman Adventure. Or Gremlins. If it does, will this be Dreamworld first ever ride with a proper story integrated into the ride. Obviously we won’t know for sure until it opens, but let’s say it does have a well considered and portrayed story. I don’t think any ride at DW has ever had a proper story that’s integral to the ride… unless I’m forgetting something.

All I want is another dark ride like Bermuda Triangle. We are severely lacking a story driven ride
