  1. Lol. Because of course you can tell how many people are visiting WWW as opposed to DW (or, *gasp* visiting both on the same day without all having to load back into the car and fight for a parking spot in the boonies and then walk all the way back to the gate) Well it sounds like 'the rest' aren't agreeing with you. Objection your honor, the question has been asked and answered. They're focusing on rebuilding their core business. The waterpark is not currently the priority, and i'm totally okay with that because WWW offers what I'm looking for out of a waterpark visit. WnW hasn't added anything to the park that's made me want to visit just to experience it since Constrictor (and that was a disappointment). I also enjoy not having to carry tubes up stairs. Thats far worse than having your daily weet-bix, IMO.

  3. I 100% agree. We can't forget how much safety standards, rules & regulations have changed since The Claw was built. I'd expect, although everything is currently deemed safe, absolutely everything will need to be completely removed, flattened and started from scratch to allow the new ride to comply with modern safety standards. I just don't see how modifying/re-using etc. anything at all that is there is going to cut it with today's standards. Although simple in theory. I think in practice, they're going to take a good chunk of time on this one. The last thing they want is their own SW Trident fiasco..

  4. Look, if it gets delayed it gets delayed. But, in all of the Rivertown press releases they've made so far, they have continued to explicitly state that they're on schedule for an opening later this year ('weather permitting', etc.). Harping on about how you believe it won't happen 'cause the undercover area for Murrisippi Motors's station isn't yet complete doesn't change that. I'll believe either scenario when it occurs or is otherwise confirmed, but anything remains possible until that point.. Dreamworld's been pretty good at opening new attractions on time recently, and though this is their largest project in a bit, them remaining confident that they can do the same for Rivertown throughout its construction is as good of a sign as any. Remember, the year isn't 2020, they aren't Sea World, and this isn't New Atlantis.

  5. Relaxing must mean different things. 🤷‍♀️ Next people are going to tell me they go to DW because it's more relaxing. 🤣

  6. You just have to look at WnW car park to see what people like.

  7. Sure - but I don't think it should be - its the perfect spot for it, it takes new riders unawares, the blades make people think they're going to hit them so they're a little afraid, and the car is tilted in a way that all riders are unobstructed for the camera. I also don't think the doors being in a high(er) speed place where there's no safety brake in case the doors fail to open is a good idea - if the doors fail, you either crash into the door or theres a new brake that results in a valley?

  9. It’s these ridiculous comments that are nonsensical. DW has the biggest range of rides, and more importantly - operational rides - of any theme park on the GC. If they are a half day park; then the others are 1/4 days being dragged out to full days by intentionally poor operations.
