  1. Hypothetically speaking, let’s say you’re right, they’ve completely rebuilt and rethemed the cars, bought two new ones for accessibility, and rehashed the entire ride experience so it’s fresh. Whats the problem? Is that so bad you feel the need to argue tenfold and then contact the park yourself to prove your point?? It’s a new experience, one they’re investing a lot of money into, is it hard to accept that?

  2. This is what you said: This is what Greg said: What you said and Greg said, are worlds apart.

  3. As I understand it, bulk of the commissioning process takes place by the property. Manufacture runs the first cycles, before it's handed over to maintenance, and then to operations to complete the required cycles. Bulk of the work takes place by DW, hence my comment on them commissioning the attraction. Enough clarity for you champion?

  4. Haha okay, I stand by what I said, it’s ones opinion.

  5. DW has been battered of late in this thread about delays we don’t even know exist, reason behind it, why testing is happening at night blah. It’s all conjecture. and no one has attacked anyone. Time to put your big boy pants on, this isn’t primary school.

  6. Yes I have, and again it’s their own view/opinion of the current state of the area. Especially if you compare the progress of WOZ up the road. I do hope DW can pull it off and open by the end of the year, would be great to see two major new attractions at both parks open in time for the summer peak season!

  7. She/He is just sharing their view about how they interpret what the CEO said. Isn’t this the point of a thread/forum? I also think DW are just refurbing their existing cars to the theming to fit in River Town, going by the statements and media releases. Time will tell what DW has planned for MM and if Shake Shack is correct, I hope people on here are apologetic for their attack on someone’s opinion and vice versa by them… but going by this thread and several other ones, DW can’t do no wrong.

  8. The discussion was regarding budgets, and the additional costs associated with conducting commissioning outside of standard hours. I proposed a question as to if this money was reassigned away from purchasing new vehicles for the attraction. I was then questioned and told that they are still getting new vehicles, contradicting what the CEO of the park had said. Regardless of the evidence presented, it was shutdown. That is all.

  9. That’s all a bunch of guessing

  10. @ShakeShack I think you might be reading to much into it.

  11. Completely different situation. If you're saying BRAND NEW VEHICLES, then they are new, from the ground up, not rebuilt. Are you saying that Dreamworld are that incompetent they've bought new vehicles with the wrong theme, and are needing to retheme them on site? If not, why would you mention "retheming"?

  12. @ShakeShack It is astounding just how many assumptions you make considering no one here actually knows what their plans were or are. This doesn’t clearly say they’re using the old cars at all. Until it’s in writing, i’d say it’s safe to assume we are still getting the new ones listed on the website and mentioned multiple times.

  13. I think that's short sighted view of potentially complex contractual agreements that no doubt have penalties for missing timeframes.

  14. Huh? Murrissippi Motors is brand new? And they’ve bought new vehicles that are electric and will keep riders in the car so they can’t jump out.

  15. Or unless you planned it that way to make a timeline set by the project overall... :Gasp: Village would never! And neither do you, we're all just speculating here. Nobody is going to front up and say they're working on the project so the best we've got is guesses - some will be optimistic, some won't. If the ride opens on boxing day then IDGAF. At least, the night works show they're pushing to try and hit the deadline, instead of changing the date on their billboards six times.
