There's 6 weeks to christmas. we know the ride has completed full circuits, and they're landscaping. i don't see any hint of vintage car tracking yet, but its looking a heck of a lot closer. 6 weeks is probably going to be enough time to be ready I reckon - as long as the weather continues to hold. Sure, the landscaping isn't going to be 'grown in' and it will take a while for the real 'jungle feel' to truly grow around everything - but that's pretty typical for opening day landscaping. I think Oz still looks better, from what we've seen so far, but JR is closing the gap here.

You can buy them them cheaper when smaller, store them, look after them, let them grow for a few months and then plant when ready.

I get the 3 options, but Greg did promise time and time again this would be the most immersive land built by Dreamworld ever… to me that sets the expectation that you’d be fully immersed in a jungle from day one. Even their website says “Rivertown is the immersive, jungle-themed precinct“ so I hope they really hit the mark on that and they’re just layering the foliage to begin with.

Nah, they’re still illegal in QLD (and likely all reserved for VRTP execs anyway).

Although, they did use fake plastic trees and plants in their train reveal post 🌴

You forgot: 4. Have mature plants offsite and plant prior to opening, without the need to grow in.
