  1. yeah i’m a bit disappointed tbh. where’s the rock work and smoke coming out of the tunnel? why’s there pool fencing surrounding it? why is it just all concrete and commercial looking? the white sheds left over from arkham too… i hope this video is old and more landscaping and theming has been added. it feels like all the budget went towards the indoor queues and emerald city facades, i hope im proved wrong. at this point, i am more excited for Rivertown and Jungle rush overall.

  3. Objection your honor, this question has been asked and answered. It's a 'movie set'. Nobody in a cinema can see whats behind the camera. You're BEHIND THE SCENES!

  4. Your information is entirely incorrect. March's Amusements is still very much operating to this day and they still own the Hurricane. They also recently purchased the Taipan rollercoaster and have refurbished it. They have also refurbished a lot of their other rides recently. This incident 100% did not shut down the company so please refrain from spreading misinformation especially without a source. As far as Skywalker goes, it's been retired for now due to unrelated reasons and has been up for sale but at this stage it is still in the country. Not sure if it will be coming back out again or not, as they are currently refurbishing some of their other attractions right now.

  5. That’s a good thing! You don’t want to see a smoke machine. If you look closely there are a couple of pipes a few hundred millimetres above the floor in the tunnel that could house the machines

  6. New video up from Movie World with some POV footage of Flight of the Wicked Witch. I don’t like to judge before things are complete, but the fact they have barely touched the old white shed facade of the old Arkham Station where the three coasters are is concerning. It feels like there is no immersion in the land at all outside of the queues and the plaza. It’s just surrounded by white sheds. I hope they do some landscaping or theming around there to make it feel nicer. Wild seeing how immersive Jungle Rush looks in comparison to this. Will hold judgement until it opens though. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DDEQUnJJZQ5/?igsh=OHUxbG8zbWs3c3V5

  7. If anyone was wanting to go today, don’t bother every major ride is shut. Was terrible

  8. I think they've erred a little here by just taking the generic "public school finishing date" as their yardstick for opening 7 day operations. Whilst that may fair well in other terms, they are losing a shit tonne of potential business this time around with private and catholic schools all finishing last week, year 12 finished 4 weeks ago, and schoolies attendees on the GC. Unless a bunch of maintenance is being done Mon-Thu, 7 day operations 100% should have commenced from today

  9. Zipper rides in Australia: Bad Ass Zipper (Shorts) - Retired but apparently sold and is being refurbished? - Ferrari Model Mean Mother Zipper (Castle / Ex Watkins) - Retired - Ferrari Model Zipper (Davis Amusements / Ex Wittingslow) - Retired - Ferrari Model Zipper (Zacchini Amusements) - Retired - Ferrari Model Zipper (West Coast Event Hire - Ex UK model) - Apparently still operating - Chance Model So looks like we only have the one currently travelling but possibly a second model coming back out of retirement.

  10. If a seatbelt is undone at any point during the dark ride section of Superman, the ride will automatically e-stop. The seatbelts have sensors to tell if they are buckled or not, if not buckled the ride will not dispatch. Also if the unloader accidentally leaves a seatbelt buckled when coming into the load station, that seat can not be used for the next cycle as the system will basically have a panic attack and not allow it to be unlocked until it comes back to unload. (That part of the system honestly is so stupid but it is what it is).

  11. Yeah i'd like to see Dreamworld's hours longer - but the comparison to Rivals is appropriate. If the park's new hotness and lunch takes you 50% of the time it takes to ride MW's 7 year old coaster, do you really need the park to operate a longer day?

  12. Dreamworld gets shredded by people on here when they retire their historic vehicles. Dreamworld also gets shredded for using and refurbishing their historic vehicles. Either way they go, they will get shredded a new one..

  13. It's almost like I flagged this a month ago, and was shut down as it being false. Wouldn't you do that with one of your new vehicles if you had them? Does not serve any good purpose running a different vehicle to what is intended.
