It’s a theme park with THEMING, not a museum where everything needs to be historically accurate.
Even though I argue that Model T’s CAN have roofs and owners of such CAN bolt stuff onto them to make it look like it’s been off-road through a jungle (some probably did journey through the Amazon back in the early 1900’s).
what you’re forgetting is it’s a THEME park. Nothing has to be accurate, so long as the parents and their kids love it, so if the roof is there so little jimmy doesn’t get sunburnt… GREAT the parents will love it, or if there’s a bird that talks or interacts… Amazing the kids will love it. Or if it’s just some shovels, rope, a spare tyre and Jerry cans, but it makes the whole family feel like they’re about to go through an amazing off-road jungle adventure… PERFECT, the whole family will love it.
And as all data suggests, it’s families that pay the bills for DW. Not enthusiasts or history buffs.
