  1. I'm not making shit up. I said 'According to you the current dreamworld bosses are incapable of running a park they have been employed to run'. Greg has been employed to run both Dreamworld and White Water World, and you have stated that he cannot run a water park. My statement is factual, and there are plenty of replies on the forum of you arguing that point that i'd love nothing more than for you to dispute this fact. Enjoy your flight, hope you have a really LONG holiday, preferably away from a data connection.

  2. Maybe the original electric cars they planned had rooves and so they designed their concept around it. In the QLD sun I'm sure families would appreciate a roof

  3. But when Jurassic Park opened, the machinery didn't eat the guests.

  5. I’m sure if I also google Caribou planes, DW isn’t using the exact same paint code or wingspan specs or some other configuration they rolled off the production line with… It’s a theme park with THEMING, not a museum where everything needs to be historically accurate. Even though I argue that Model T’s CAN have roofs and owners of such CAN bolt stuff onto them to make it look like it’s been off-road through a jungle (some probably did journey through the Amazon back in the early 1900’s). what you’re forgetting is it’s a THEME park. Nothing has to be accurate, so long as the parents and their kids love it, so if the roof is there so little jimmy doesn’t get sunburnt… GREAT the parents will love it, or if there’s a bird that talks or interacts… Amazing the kids will love it. Or if it’s just some shovels, rope, a spare tyre and Jerry cans, but it makes the whole family feel like they’re about to go through an amazing off-road jungle adventure… PERFECT, the whole family will love it. And as all data suggests, it’s families that pay the bills for DW. Not enthusiasts or history buffs.

  6. Dreamworld restored the train station, but still replaced the original rolling stock and loco with a modern equivalent to suit the requirements of the day. The funny thing about the model T is that it was the jack of all trades. they were used for everything from town cars to ambulances, freight transport to campervans. Some versions rolled off the factory in a certain fit-out, but others were literally retrofitted by their owners into whatever purpose-built function they were needed for. The best part about the T was that the timber bodies were able to be modified pretty easily in the average workshop using whatever wood was handy. And spoiler alert, this isn't the first time that Dreamworld Vintage Cars have had a roof on them I'll just go back and repeat myself...

  7. As usual, i'll wait and see the final product. It's unlikely to be a loose article issue, IMO because they'd do a poor job of that. Only other thing I can think of is maybe the finale inside the tunnel has effects that requires the roof of the tunnel to be hidden?

  8. Well, there's no whiplash bar so they're already off to a better start than last time.

  9. The dry park needs water rides (or rides to cool you off in summer) too. Gone from 2 to 0 within 5 years. WWW can wait for all I care. Their slide lineup I reckon is still better than wet n wild and younger on average. Wet n wild took 15 years to catch up and install a hydro coaster and they don’t even have a bowl of any sort yet, Www will be fine all that they need is a lazy river

  10. It already looks like a lot better job than the roof over the log ride boats. And I doubt the current management will make any of the mistakes the previous management made when it comes to retrofitting on site. I’d suspect the necessary consultants would’ve been engaged before just heading to Bunnings and buying some metal to join together.

  11. Jaggs shared this photo showing the vintage cars are being fitted to feature the roof and potential theming that we’ve seen in the concept artworks

  12. Jungle Rush was testing a lot night during the Night Market! Went forward and backwards. Was awesome finally seeing it in person! Also looked like a small film crew was on site, so maybe expect something on the News soon.
