  1. Mad max dark ride, expand the whole old DC area into a western/Mad Max them. Move all DC statues to the DC area. Remove Justice league and put in a couple of flats themed to DC.

  2. Move the villains figures from the area to the DC Rivals queue, so that all the DC comics is at the front of the park. Then use the space for a different IP.

  3. My bottom line is, Rivertown looks like a finished land. Despite them adding more which is good but they should have been added before hand. The land is amazing, I do believe they focused in the end run on Jane’s restaurant. Oz looks bare, and as The Magician said, the socials from both parks are the opposite. Dreamworld are constantly posting videos etc, closures, updates. When was the last time we heard about an update on Scooby Doo, or the Dooms day removal?

  4. This thread has been pretty quiet, while over the highway the Rivertown\Jungle Rush threads continue with updates. I haven't been to WOZ myself, and I've no great urge to rush out and do so just yet, but from what i've heard and seen online, the sentiments towards the land are that it was a miss. I watched this last night and the channel has been pretty on the mark with other topics covered. Call it confirmation bias if you like, but a lot of what is covered in this video sounds about what I expected. this video is a big oof.

  5. We all want to see a new dark ride at MW, but the reality is if you jump forward a decade, we’ll still be wanting one. The best to hope for would be a renewal/retheme of JL.

  6. Probably a Village cost saving tactic. It’s not the first time the theme parks have had some miscommunication, so that could be what it comes down too.

  7. ba dum.. tsssss?? anyways, I found the difference between Rivertown and WoZ is that thanks to WoZ ABYSMAL amount of massive black fencing, it gives off this "completedness" whilst being incomplete. (I thought the sewer was a river about to be made) Meanwhile Dreamworld's Rivertown feels actually complete, then they come around and go "but WAIT, Theres MORE!" and add tones more throughout the month.

  8. When I was at the park a few days ago, I noticed what looked to be additional theming for Rivertown/Jungle Rush sitting in the former Rocky Hollow area, including what appeared to be themed rubbish bins.

  9. Probably because JR looks finished. Even if they hadn’t of added what they have since opening day, and continue to add, it was still a well themed immersive attraction. What they are adding now just elevates it further. WoZ isn’t immersive once you step outside that internal queue area. And let’s be frank, it never will be. VTP isn’t going to put millions retrospectively into adding theming to the ride envelopes and surrounds. The most we can ever hope for is some shade sails.

  10. Only thing I can point to is that DW have been upfront about saying 'there's more' whereas MW haven't said diddly and just went 'it's open!' It's all about communication. Dreamworld are pretty open about things, and Village keeps things tightly to their chest.

  11. Maloneys videos are good, and he is on point with this. As everyone has stated, something fell short in regards to the theming etc, they didn’t let the theming company has full access/budget to do this place justice. Didnt realise Arkham theming was still visible in the area which is crazy. The panic was real when Dreamworld announced a soft opening.

  12. Great video, with all very valid and real concerns/explanations

  13. Really good video and (unfortunately for VRTP) it all comes across as accurate, especially the ‘fear of dreamworld’ comments!

  14. Best food- Jane’s restaurant Best guest experience- Dreamworld Best park operations- without a doubt Dreamworld Best coaster- DC Rivals Best family coaster - Jungle Rush Beat Flat ride - murissippi motors Best themed area- Rivertown Best show- don’t have one Best kids area- Dreamworld Best new attraction- Rivertown Best theme park- Dreamworld. Despite lacking a water ride, and a coaster to match or better rivals, Draamworld is hands down the better park.
