Or a parent of a kid who loves roller coasters I have a 4.5 year old, who for the last year or so has absolutely loved RRRC. We did it 10 times in a row one day before finally convincing him to move onto something else. As cool as being suspended on EFM is, the height restriction of 110 (as opposed to RRRC being 100) means that he is still too short to ride it. So for that reason, I vote RRRC. Kids can get an extra year of fun out of it

Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster Reopening [Dec 26, 2016]

If MW were to re-theme the ride, as much as they don't need another DC ride, I recon it would suit a "Jokers Funhouse" kinda theme. Even the trains wouldn't look too out of place with a theme like that.- 202 replies

Batman is arguably DC's biggest character. And with Superman being the other big name maybe the new coaster will be Batman themed to match their current flagship coaster. Now people saying they already have a batman ride in Batwing, however this didn't stop them building Batwing when they already had Batman adventure 2. Correct me if I'm wrong but they had 2 batman themed rides for about 5 years. -
Id love to see western area revamped with a family ride as well as a coaster (dreamworld need a decent full circuit coaster) and my vote would be a Rocky Mountains Construction coaster using the old blue lagoon area at tie in the railroad as well.

Yes, thats correct. She won them on a radio competition. What she was given was just a generic printed letter with the details and a code to quote when booking, her name wasn't attached to it at all. They probably have the usual disclaimers about not transferrable etc, but if they don't attach them to the name of the person claiming them, how will they know? I called up and booked it in, they just asked for the code plus the names of the two people attending. They don't know that it wasn't me who won them on the radio

Thanks guys. Went to see the guys selling the tickets this morning, she was really helpful, said that when she picked up the tickets from the radio station they never took her name or anything. She even let me stay at her place and call to book in to make sure it was all ok before she took my money So now we are all booked in for 15th October, yay can't wait

Just back from the park, Had a quick peek through the fence at the exit of Justice league. It seems they have the same portable fencing on the other side of the creek next to justice league building. They also have markers stuck in the ground over there in what looks to be a straight line. At an uneducated guess Id say it would be the site of the station. Make sense with it being closest to the rest of the park. This thing looks like its going to be huge... Cant wait. -

Had 2 in Sydney. But i doubt it will be wood cause of the maintenance involved in keep it. RMC maybe? they are all the rage atm Didn't they get approval for an overflow carpark on the other side of the road. I thought this was a bit strange as there current overflow carpark rarely fills up. Just wondering if the current grass overflow might be the area of top golf. It may not be large enough, I'm sure someone here will know if it is. -
Thanks, some good tips there. I never even thought that we would probably have to fly through LAX, so thanks for that heads up, will add Magic Mountain to the want list

Hi all. Got a big birthday coming up, and thinking about taking some long service leave and going to the states to do some theme parks. The ones I am currently thinking of are Cedar Point, Six Flags Great Adventure, Busch Gardens (Williamsburg), Dollywood, Carowinds, Kings Dominion and Canada's Wonderland. Most likely won't do them all, those are just ones that I can think of at the moment. Just wondering if anyone here has been to any or all of these? Are there any others in that general area that would be better than any of these ones? Not looking at doing Disney, I have a young son who won't be accompanying us on this trip and we will take him to Disney when he is old enough to enjoy it Thanks

I personally am not looking forward to sitting in the seats and sitting face to face with some other stranger hoping they don't barf on me. By the look for the water dummies your almost touching knees. What would be different is if the block of 4 seats your sitting on rotated 90 degs for a loop or two so your facing sideways and watching the world turn over and not someone screaming in your face. -

Dreamworld IMO should also open the Brock exhibit to the outside public for a small fee. My father for example would love to visit it but at his age (72) has no interest in paying full admission to dreamworld to see it as he is a bit over the hill for the rides. -
OK so its great that superman is back and all. However the superman costume looks poor. If you look at the most recent superman movies the costume looks so much more detailed that this cloth. Wonder woman looks great with detailed leather, as does Batmans costume so why with a huge name like superman would they make him look cheap.

Movieworld please take notes. -
My sister is coming to visit in a couple of weeks and have been looking for the cheapest theme park ticket options for her, found a flyer at my sons daycare with the following: Single entry into either of the three parks for $39 Unlimited entry into all until June 30 for $49 Outback Spectacular $65 for mid week or $75 for Saturday night. Tickets must be purchased online before 30th May (or you can present the flyer which I am in possession of at the gate, not sure where else to get them from) Sounds like a pretty good deal for anyone holidaying up here before the end of June.

Thanks Did you get the one with the photos on USB? Just wondering how many "All" photos actually is. I assume from the name and price of the one at Australia Zoo it might just be a sit next to and smile for a photo type thing.
