The Claw is good but as I've said it can be really painful for your legs. Then again, I'm still pretty short so maybe that's the reason. IMO opinion yes I agree it's the best travelling ride around, with the exception maybe of Rainbow.

Thanks for that Sean, I really hope this turns out to be a park. It's quite possible that it will be one but I'm still doubting for a Disneyland.

I heard about those Zorba things....weird. I had an idea for a ride where there is a 5 seater gondala attached to the track like a normal freefall, and it's launched up, then over a large arc, then it freefalls back down. The gondala would be attached so that it didn't end upside down as it freefalled. The ride would give a similar feeling to a Huss Rainbow, except with better views and more intensity. There would be a gondala running on either side to help with capacity. You could stick that on the harbour bridge too Although on a bridge there would be too much of the ride travelling to the side, which means too many lateral g's.

Pitty to hear no water rides will be open. I really doubt 3 and a half hours will be enough to get many rides in. It'll be good if you can just stay in the park from when it opens to the end of the night. 12 hours would be nice! My parents will never let me go though. Damn.
-
Yeah but if you don't get the three hour pass the rides are a rip-off. How much is a pass?
-
Well it takes a while to get overseas.
-
Hmm, I don't think Ranger will have two sides any time soon. What do you mean will it bring any more rides? If anything it will discourage the park from making the place any noisier.
-
I was wondering where you got it from too. It looks like something promotional.

I had that idea when I was in the CBD last week, why not have a launch coaster in Queen st?
-
Yeah I heard about that Ghost Train but there hasn't been any more news.On LPM's site the ride still seems to be operating.
-
I think a free fall on Q1 would be way too intense I had that idea too actually. How about a coaster set atop Sydney harbour bridge? It launches up the crest, then after going down the crest it slows down as it levels out, before it goes into a backwards launch the same way. The ride would have great views, a fast launch, with great positive and negative g's. looks at Gazza

Hmmm, while I would rather see R-C.com a free site the costs are obviously going to be alot so you don't have much choice.I'd join but only if the features were high quality, and I'm pretty sure they will be, knowing what we already have.

That doesn't mean it will help.It wasn't posted on the site that one side of GD would be closed, and it didn't say Reptar would be closed the time I went before that.

The same for me except mine is LW, ToT, then Corksrew. Although I am getting a little bored with ToT.

Wait, is this a themepark themed about Tsunami's or is it about the boxing day Tsunami? I wasn't sure. One about the actual Tsunami isn't very good.I thought it was just a park themed to Tsunami's.

Nice! I hope that top hat packs a punch.BTW, why don't B&M make launches often, if ever?
-
Damn I'm sick of those knobs.Luna Park is a part of Sydney, it was there long before they were.Don't they have soundproof glass or something?

Damn I'm sick of those knobs.

Cyclone Tracy destryed Darwin and killed several people.Did this stop DW opening Cyclone? Come on, alot of people died but you can't help that sort of thing and building a park about tsunamis is not going to show any disrespect. As long as it tryed to help raise awarness about natural phenomena and such though.
-
Ah, I thought it was a coaster.
-
What type of coaster is Soarin? What is it's layout like?
-
mmm, but we haven't had one on SDSC yet As Adam would say, if you're not interested don't read it.
-
Yeah and that will be two years by the end of 2006.

I don't think a Disney park is very likely for Aus, unless this is a dreamers thread
