    The DA approval for a new hotel, doesn't confirm Village want to spend $300 million on a hotel. What we do know is a private equity group purchased Village and if we know private equity groups, one day they will want to offload Village for a profit. Having a DA like a major hotel in place at sale, is one way to raise the value of Village. Village have had a DA in place forever for cabins at PC, and the most Village have invested into Farmstay is some tents.

    I found the queue for JR hot and stuffy too @Sammus77 The only cooling I have seen in the queue are the Bunnings fans, which only offer relief when you are under them.

    @Narrayou missed out on a great ride. I think MM has turned out to be the star attraction of Rivertown. You would be hard-pressed to find a better attraction of its type.

    I agree with your review. I found theming overall good but the indoor section underwhelming. I don't know if there is a story the ride is telling but if there is, it's very abstract. The queue was hot for me but it looked like maybe they were having some issues with how it works because 2 staff were carrying pedestal fans. As always the staff at DW are great. MM is a great addition but the roof of the cars continues to suck for me, plus I still don't see the point of the seatbelts because nobody checks them. As feared MM has the biggest queue in the park. I also found Rivertown doesn't feel connected to the river. Facade of the gift store looks cheap. I would say DW was reluctant to spend money on it with the limited life left in the Motocoaster. The JR merch in the store is garbage. It's the type of items I get for free at a work conference. Overall, really well done DW. Psssssss, hopefully DW already has some shaded seat to be placed by the river on backorder.

    @Park Addict 93queuing inside was probably the intention of the original design. Somewhere along the line, somebody thought it was a good idea to stick everyone in the cattle run.

    People's early reviews are a bit worrying if it is complete. Temple looks, great, queue looks great, fingers gross the dark sections live up to the rest of the ride and it's not as big of an anti-climax, as my joke. Two cows are in a field. Suddenly, from behind a bush, a rabbit leaps out and runs away. One cow looks around a bit, eats some grass and then wanders off.

    How much work do people think DW will get completed on the dark section before before it opens in 6 days? At a guess, what you are seeing in the dark sections, is very close to the finished product.

    What's so ground breaking about 3 off the shelf coasters? I know, It's ground breaking for MW, they haven't broken down yet. 🤣
