@themagicianThere are many places you could install the thing, but just to mention a few- 1. close to the future broadwater boardwalk. 2.On top of the back of house buildings. 3. Current management parking spot. Where the current monorail station is at the front of the park.

Who is Pico?

During the day, the wheel would run as a standard attraction for park guest.. At night it would operate as a rotating restaurant. The food would be made within one of the existing kitchens and delivered to the wheel. I'll leave what food SW serve up to the park. SW could have a set menu or like what was done in Europe during Covid, on a big wheel, where each gondola had an Ipad in it for food ordering. Can we not do both.

The ride definitely lost its charm, when it was moved to the swamp. On the bright side, no more contracting the ross river virus after a ride.

I was referring to building a new flume ride and not the location. As for the location, the QLD Government still haven't canned their plans for a broadwalk outside of SW, along the Broadwater which could create side access to a Big Wheel.

Locals have no say anymore @themagician The temporary wheel was a great success and SW wanted to keep it but due to the town planning laws at that time, council wouldn't approve it. SW could build a strata coaster today with no problems, if they wanted to.

I said none of that but please, keep going.

I've always thought SW could open a wheel up at night, as a restaurant.

It's not for expansion/contraction. All I am doing is observing the current state of the walls going up and hoping it's not the finished product. Did you read the part where I said I hope the outside isn't like the inside?

There is more panels up then shown in that photo, which is why I have raised the question because to close the gaps you would have to move every panel they have installed. I hope so too.

I hope you're right. I had a sneaky ride on ST, during work the other day and I had a quick look at the coaster and the gaps really stood out. I reckon, some of the gaps, I could fit my fist right through them.

If they are having issues closing the gaps internally, won't they have the same issues externally. A tube of no-more-gaps won't cut it. 🤣

The current gaps between the theming pieces look awful. I'm sure these gaps won't be there when it's completed, right?

They have a special for the next 3 months, if you book online. $15 for one turn or $30 for 3 turns. I also read you don't need a lift pass to ride it. I believe the normal price will be $25 & $50.
