  1. I'm loving the colours with the lower dirt affects on the train.
  2. That's all I can take in a day.🤣 See you tomorrow @DaptoFunlandGuy
  3. You forget who's reading your post @Brad2912🤣
  4. What does that prove @Tricoart? 🤔 If DW has already shown 2 new films, f&*k @Brad2912is right. From history of what DW has given us, in the past, DW is due for a new film. Thanks for clearing that up.
  5. @Brad2912apparently all you need to do is show a park stats, that has nothing to do with or like, to prove it. 🤷‍♀️ Apparently Disney is the law. Dapto proved nothing. He thinks he did, but I'm not buying what his selling. @@Tricoart I haven't mentioned Superman, so take a guess. /s All Dapto's table does is give us dates. Nothing more. Full stop. Dapto's trying to spin it as law, just because he put it in a table, but I can make tables too:😀
  6. 100% incomparable CAP to DW. By how many times people have seen it. The % of new guest to returning guest, at California Adventure Park on any given day, would smash DW. If you went into Soarin and asked, how many people had seen the film before compared SV, which film would have the greater % of new viewers? My thoughts, anyway about it.
  7. MW/SW staff struggle enough with one train, let alone 2. That is why I believe it's a rare sight to see 2 trains running. In my eyes, they have conceded, and the 2nd trains are primary for maintenance replacements.
  8. @ MW @SW I've visited DW, outside of holidays and seen 2 trains running on ST. I've bee to MW during a sold out night night event and only seen 1 train running on Rivals.
  9. A couple of the rides are world class, as good as anything you see in the world, but you can’t call the attraction world class, because the operations & queues, let them down. Rivals probably has the same wait time to a similar ride, so why am I unwilling to wait 2 hours to ride Rivals you ask? Queuing sucks in Australia. 2 hours feels like 3 hours. 3 hours feels like 5 hours. You barely move, the staff look like they are being told to slow the dispatches down, there is nothing to look at and most of the time it’s hot. In a queue where you feel like you are constantly moving, you don’t get bored & bothered because you feel like you are making progress. I don’t believe, I can last more than 2 rides at MW before I walk out the gates anymore.
  10. It's embarrassing. When my relatives visit from the USA, I never take them to a theme park on the GC.
  11. It’s great when our parks are busy, when the parks are busy, it indicates they are probably successful, which can lead to better future attraction. The downside is some Gold Coast parks, believe it’s ok to have Disney queue wait times, even though the attraction doesn’t merit it. International visitors to the Gold Coast, commonly comment, how shit the operations are at the parks.
  12. What I was referring to, or trying to say, more to the point is, because the standards weren't in place when DW reopened the rides, the work DW competed (other people completed on their behalf), did they cover the new standard requirements for a major inspection. If it did, The Claw wouldn't be up for a major inspection.
  13. Thank you very much but II never said DW fudged anything and never implied it.
  14. @BaconjackWhat adds to the mix is after the accident DW claimed to thoroughly inspect every ride before re-opening them. I wonder if the inspections were completed to the major inspection standard, or to DW's standard. 🤷‍♀️
  15. From my understanding, just because the Claw is 20 years old does not mean it is due for its second 10 yearly inspection. The legislative requirement asks for 10-year inspections from last major inspection, from the Code of practice 2023. (an engineer can also override the interval between inspection) The new legislative requirements were written because of the accident at DW. When was the last major inspection?
  16. Don't you think, marketing a new major ride, before opening up what you have just spent 50m on, a bit backwards? @Brad2912 I've put off trips, to wait for a new ride to open.
  17. I will be extremely upset if DW are replacing the Claw. I wanted the Claw footprint, to be turned into more shaded seating.
  18. You could call it a soft opening. It's probably better to train people to operate slides, when people are going down the slides.
