  1. I noticed that yesterday, and I think they were only used during the Peak season. However I can not be certain.
  2. For me it's mainly the panel that is over your leg. About halfway through the ride it gets pushed down alot harder. It's caused leg cramps for me several times. And as you've said it's just plain inefficient, and I don't know how they could reach the 700 rider mark if it takes 5 minutes to dispatch a train.
  3. ^ Alex... your a bastard! But a funny one so it's acceptable But yes, that post made by jjuttp was VERY confusing... After about 1 line i just scrolled down.
  4. Well... it DOES increase the feeling of speed... The speed of you falling asleep!
  5. Cheers for the update! I will see if I can head down some time this week to get some photos. If not i'll be down next week.
  6. I just hope it doesn't end up like Motocoaster. If they wanted another motorbike (jetski in this case) ride, They should have gone with the Vekoma option.
  7. The skylink supports have huge floodlights on them that are used during night time events.
  8. Either that or the General Public are actually SMART?!
  9. But if they built a Nickelodeon themed ride, where could they put it? There isn't exactly much space left for expansion of that area. And the location between Nick Stuff and Tiger Island is not a option as that is reserved for WhiteWater World expansion. Also, they could have "Nightmares: The Hollywood Invasion" Where you spend a spine chilling 6 minutes on tour with the worlds most horid celebs. Featuring Tom Cruise throwing phones at you. And not to mention the entrance you walk under a giant Paris Hilton's legs! I don't think that one will happen in a hurry though
  10. Which is only a saving of around 15 - 20 dollars in the end.
  11. Why would they need a Pirate Ship type ride? Doesn't the claw basically do the same thing except spin?
  12. The claw makes you sick now? I just find the claw relaxing and fun. But the wipeout on the other hand... Also I don't know bout discounts but DW had 99 dollar passes around november last year for locals.
  13. Okay. I didn't end up going today as I've decided I want to head down on the 30th for the last ever PA show. I hope Scooby will be running by then. But I will call the park anyway on Wednesday to see if is or not.
  14. I am heading down on the 30th to see the last ever PA show. Should we try and organize an "Unoffical" meet up for then? If we get enough interest I may make a new thread.
  15. So do you think Scooby will be open tomorrow or not?
  16. All I know is i'm heading to Movie World tomorrow if anyone wants to tag along. PM me for my mobile number so we can arrange a meet. I wanna see PA for the last time
  17. Yeah, cause every park needs a eureka! EDIT: 800th Post
  18. Maybe they recruited the Big Brother ninjas to work for WVTP? I mean they switched the FNL sets so quickly, why couldn't they do the same with Hollywood Stunt Driver?
  19. Well, it is a Zamperla ride... But it hasn't ran since xmas from what I recall. The rocket part of the ride is no where to be seen.
  20. Apparently it hasn't been operating for a while. It wasn't running alot of peak season from what I could see when working there.
  21. Well certain people may have been told. And as far as I can see he / she isn't breaching any park rules because they aren't disclosing the location etc.
  22. There would be several ways of getting that info. Knowing someone who works at the parks He could be a WVTP employee of have been a WVTP Employee etc. There are lots of places he could have got that info.
  23. If I can round up some money I will head down. I will let you know if you'd like Gazza.
  24. Well, if they DID replace the Stingray with something else I wouldn't object. The ride is starting to show it's age. And that was proven with the unexpected downtime earlier in the year. We could only presume that something was wrong with it that required URGENT attention. It was the same story with Eureka but not as complex as Eureka is seeming to be. I mean it was there from 1983 as the Roulette Wheel, which makes it 24 years old now. So it's certainly lasted it's lifetime. And if it's costing too much to maintain, maybe it is time it gets replaced.
  25. Ah cheers for that. It should be interesting to see the finished product.
