  1. Just so you know, Not everything a ride op says is "truth." If what he says is true it would be great, but I'm still waiting for the announcement on this. Also with the B+M Information, I reckon we will see them one day soon. And if we do it will either be a Stand Up, Flyer, Dive Machine or Floorless. As far as your standard coaster goes I think the parks will most likely stick with either Vekoma or Intamin. And yes the C.E.O of WVTP is Indeed John Menzies.
  2. That's what I thought also, Considering the pass was most likely already brought. I personally think having these competitions is a great incentive to get more content. Great idea Richo!

    NO limits

It's more complex to use, It's taken me several months to manage to create a coaster that was actually decent. The end result is No Limits will turn out ALOT better. I mean look at this re-creation of Deja Vu on No Limits! And them compare it to something in RCT3. NOTE: I did not make this re-creation, I just found it on google.
  4. DJ, If anybody couldn't get that drift then there is something wrong with them
  5. Okay, i still don't know what the video error was, but I'm glad I was able to help.
  6. I've clicked the link several times, and every time it links me to a Modern Marvels video, which after about a minute talks about the horizontal movement of the cars. Basically it's saying that sensors located on the floor and underneath the cars tell them which way to move. They also mentioned that they can move backwards, forwards and even side to side.
  7. What? That video answer's the question you asked. You wanted to know how the Vehicles do the horizontal movement, and it explains it. Your comment was frankly rude and uncalled for, and I suggest if you have a personal problem with me, you talk to me in private about it and not bring it onto the forums.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQar9CHM8sw That should answer a few questions. Thats not the Cali one, but the one at MGM studios, but it's the same concept.
  9. Yeah, it's like a whole lot of ugly coming from a never ending parade of stupid!
  10. Now, something I want to know... The people that are posting all this stuff like "I Know what the new ride is" etc. Do you actually work at the parks or are you just posting rumors for the sake of posting rumors and saying "This IS what is coming"? Because until I see an announcement from the parks, I'm just going to sit back and see how it pans out. I do know several people that DO work for VRTP and I do trust there information when it is given out (In compliance with park rules etc.) But when people who don't work within the park come around saying "This IS what is coming but I can't say" and "I Know what it is but I can't say" It makes me wonder what the point is of even posting about it. So in summary, if you KNOW what it is, good for you. If you KNOW and say you do but you cant say, why bother even posting about it at all? It just cheezes people off. End Rant.
  11. I personally think this would be a BAD move for Movie World. I personally think it looks really quite ugly, whereas Main Street looks really good in the day time. The lattice effect looks tacky in my opinion, I can see why Tokyo Disneyland had to do it (Monsoons etc.) But all we really get is rain, which is what an umbrella or the rain poncho's are for.
  12. Well done Richard! I am really liking the color scheme of the forums. It's simple and easy to read, not to mention neat I really can not wait till Parkz is fully functional, all the staff and helpers should be congratulated on there work!
  13. Yeah, thats what I was thinking... I can see the Motocoaster style bag system working real well for Superman: Escape. On another note, Motocoaster is CRAP running 1 train, they were running it with hour waits yesterday.
  14. Oh... another tempoary attraction? Why don't we just whack some carnie rides in where the Eye was!
  15. It would most likely be the "Whirl Till You Hurl" Competition that ran on the now demolished Bush Beast at Wonderland Sydney. If you look on the forums there is more information about it.
  16. "A south Auckland theme park employee died after becoming crushed in a ferris wheel this morning. Michael Ross Stuart, 21, of Papakura, was cleaning the junior ferris wheel at Rainbow's End when the accident happened. Police Inspector William Taylor said the death was not being treated as suspicious. Counties-Manukau Police were called to the scene at 10am along with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) representatives. Mr Taylor said Mr Stuart's body had been removed from the scene and a postmortem would be carried out tomorrow." - Source, Yahoo News
  17. Now now... no personal insults Tony!
  18. No. This has got to be one of the most amusing threads of the week.
  19. Ah, so thats where it is, I knew there was one somewhere!
  20. You can upgrade at the end of the day, I think you just go to guest services.
  21. Wet'n'Wild does sell 2 day passes, the prices are as follows: ADULTS $67.50 $67.50 CHILDREN (3 - 13 years inclusive) $43.50 $43.50 PENSIONERS (with Government Card) $43.50 $43.50
  22. Ah, so you work at Dreamworld? But yeah, the Staff at Screamworld should be congratulated, they dealt with the crowds amazingly! Especially the guy running the Beavers, he was a great person and we had a 15 min convo in the queue because no one was riding!
  23. Apparently it was only this year that everything bar H20 zone closed. I think it was something to do with the attendance figures.
  24. I agree with Lotl_90, The Screamworld events are getting better. I now think that most of the local's have already been before, so they don't bother going again. And this is what makes the lines shorter. Either that or Dreamworld's staff have got alot more efficient
  25. Also note, that from 7pm onwards, everything but the H20 Zone and sometimes Mammoth Fall's closes. This does include SurfRider. And just for SurfRider you will be waiting anywhere from 20 mins to a hour to board, only leaving a hour to do everything else on the far side of the park.
