  1. These are really cool, and some what realistic!! My favourite is the Ripsaw! You can control it alot more than the other simulators CoasterBoy6
  2. Great trip report. Short but sweet! (I like) It's funny how everybody stares at you because you're going down the emergency exit! And some of them even follow you OR they think twice about going down the normal path. CoasterBoy6
  3. Yay!!, It got ranked just after the Superman hyper coaster by only small margine! That hyper is supposed to be one of the best rollercoasters around!! It also got placed before the Dueling Dragons Fire, which is another top rated coaster!! WAAAHOOO, Go Superman Escape! CoasterBoy6
  4. That's a really good point tom! However, out of the 6 million the park probably used a max of 2 million (probably even wayyy less) for maintenence and mabey only 1m for Flowrider and another 500,000 for Nightmares and Dorothy's Rosy Teacups Ride. So that adds an extra 2.5 million/3 million to this years budget. CoasterBoy6
  5. Yay!! Hopefully Dreamworld has an ongoing relationship with Atomiq. They've done really good jobs with the Claw and WWW so I can't wait until I see the themeing ideas for the new coaster! CoasterBoy6
  6. Great trip report!! I must say that adding themeing and bright coloured slides make a waterpark look alot more fun and inviting. The pics you have taken have shown this aspect to WWW. Anyway, I'm going up in Sept (read signiture), can't wait! CoasterBoy6 P.S: I love the picture of the people on the wipeout!!
  7. Guys, what coasters do you tackle on the levels? On the website where you buy it from it says that you play on coasters that are operating in Australia, USA, etc. P.S: Check out the new signiture!!
  8. Ohhh, sorry about that!! What a bummer!! Although, why would it matter so much DW Rulz. You have been on SE before, right??? CoasterBoy6
  9. What is worring you sooo much DWRulz! I thought you are going up in March?
  10. When I first came across this website I didn't know what it was all about. Well I soon figured it out when I came across concept drawings and finacial graphs for the Walt Disney Company. Here is the link to the website: 2006 WD Co.Annual Report Anyway, the website shows concept art of new lands, rides and even a new themepark!! It also shows what movies were big hits and what movies are planned for 07. Oh, and how well the company has been going, with shows, toys, movies, computer - console games and the Disney channel. The sight also has a lot of BLAH BLAH BLAH that I can't understand, so I suggest you go to the sections: 1. Dreaming Section 2. Letters To The Shareholders 3. The hole of the Key Business section! CoasterBoy6 EDIT: It looks like I'm not the only one who found the site :Themeparkreview pics
  11. Scince I haven't travelled overseas, my top 3 coasters are: 1. Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster 2. Superman Escape 3. Corkscrew The reason I put Scooby-Doo infront of SE is that SDSC has a lot more better quality themeing than Superman. CoasterBoy6 P.S: I love themeing!!!
  12. I just went onto Moviepark Germany's website, and had a look at their rides and attractions. And to my suprise, they have got a ride called the Bermuda Triangle - Alien Encounter. It also looks identical to Seaworld's version on the Gold Coast . I also discovered some pics of the attractions insides and a video. Here is the link:Bermuda Triangle - Alien Encounter If anybody has ridden this ride, I'd like to know if the ride has the same story line to the one in Seaworld? And if not what are the differences? Anyway, I remember it used to be called Waner Bros Movieworld Germany, and all of it's rides were movie themed like the one in Australia. How come, they had to change nearly all the names. E.G - the SLC was called Eraser but know it's called MP Express!! There's just one more guestion . Does WVTP's have anything to do with Moviepark Germany? I think I remember somebody saying they did, but it was a while back. If anybody has answers to these questions, could you please post them up. (Oh, and if anybody has problems reading this post, Kiss my Shiekra!!) - Link:Coasterradio - Episode 220 (it's near the top of the page) Thanks, CoasterBoy6
  13. Great pic!!! Just wondering, what is that blue coaster in the right hand side of the picture? Thanx, CoasterBoy6 P.S: Is it that Jimmy Neutron coaster by Vekoma?
  14. This is another good pic of the skateboard coaster!: Skateboard Coaster And, yer it does look really ugly without any themeing. Hopefully seaworld or movieworld add some wave graphics or pictures to cover-up the track! CoasterBoy6
  15. Only, one worry about your source Mattcrombie . I'd like to know how you will be able to do inversions with this particular style of seating? However, your source could mean a horizontal loop? Anyway, did your source tell you anything about how fast this ride will be travelling at? I think this is a really great idea, especially because that area of the park does not really get alot of people. CoasterBoy6
  16. LOL!! Point taken. Anyway, I think they could get the speed up a little bit, mabey 80 to 85km/h. I think this would be just enough speed to make it a family coaster as well as a thrill ride. Especially if it does that speed, as you were saying, in 3 or more seconds. Oh, and what does the -1 on top of the Km/h mean: Thanks, CoasterBoy6
  17. Sorry, guys for all the confusion . I didn't find that info anywhere. Infact I just thought that Vekoma would use LIM's or LSM's on the booster bike because they use them on all there other launched rollercoasters. 1. Anyway, how fast do you guys think this coaster will go? 2. And would it be like SE where you reach the speed in under a number of secs? CoasterBoy6
  18. However, Intamin will be the first to use a cable launch! The rest use LIM's don't they? Anyway, hopefully what Intamin is doing, is using a acceleration coaster, like SE with the cable launch. And just replacing the normal seats with motorcycles. I also hope they try and beat the speed on SE, mabey 0 to 120 in 2.5 seconds!! . CoasterBoy6
  19. Ok, everybody, let's play a game!! It's called: How would you theme this new coaster to Dreamworld?. How to play is very simple. Just describe where you would put the coaster and then how would you theme it. Mabey there could be a story line included? Anyway, would this accelerator coaster work alot like Superman, with the hydralic launch but with people sitting in a motorcycle position?? CoasterBoy6
  20. Ohh, so it's not vekoma's booster bike *nocks head against wall*. Hopefully Intamin use the hydralic launch system, like on Superman. Anyway, going by what Rabid is saying, it looks like we have got another World First!! CoasterBoy8
  21. Yer, I would prefer it to go over the lake and onto the island in the middle. But please, can somebody confirm that this is actually what DW's next big thrill is!! CoasterBoy8
  22. I can see where you are coming from here. However, the half pipe coaster that you have mentioned is supposed to be installed into Seaworld not Movieworld. But there have also been people saying that any off the two parks could end up getting the Half Pipe coaster. It looks like a simple typo to me. Insted of writting MovieWORLD they have wrote down MoviePARK. CoasterBoy8
  23. Is this for real!!! Whoa, looks like they have gone with the booster bike. I like it how there are going to be to intamin accelerater coaster on the Gold Coast . Just a Question AugustVonPolen, How do you get that magazine? Do you have to subscribe or do you have to pay money for it? CoasterBoy8
  24. What's the big difference? They're both from Proslide, both use cloverleaf technology and they both are called "Tornado" (Before WWW named it The Green Room, everybody called it WWW's Tornado.) CoasterBoy6
  25. This is a really good idea to promote the Wii. The only problem is that I don't have a Wii. So I've never really handled the controllers properly. Anyway, good luck to anybody who wants to enter the comp.!! CoasterBoy6
