Arkham is looking great, all the ride parts out the back have been moved. Looks like they are getting ready to reopen as per schedule (Mon 6th, if I remember right )

The park was officially opened today on June 3rd, 1991 ? Hard to believe it's already a quarter of a century old!! Here's a bunch of my pics from over the years, both old and new. It's been such a blast having this theme park in my life ???

OK, so apparently today I am Rachel ??? Definitely worth going along to MW this Friday if anyone is interested in getting in on birthday celebrations ???

Just stumbled across this one of Movie World from around the time SDSC opened (early 00's)... was before main street had its roof added, too.

Maybe the tape is just there until the extra bits come in that are going to be added to the blank spots of the arms?

Vintage Cars were open today (Tuesday). I asked about it and they said that they are opening them weekdays atm because so many attractions are currently closed for maintenance/renos. Don't know about the others though, I dare say its because it's off peak period and they have gone into conservation mode

So stopped in at MW again today on the way to DW, hoping to get a photo of a plaque from the park's opening day to post on my page for Friday (their 25th birthday). Turns out they don't have one, which is disappointing Anyway guest services did mention that there was something bugs bunny related in the kids area where Taz Bumper Cars used to be, so went up to have a look - turned out to be those character statues, not really what I was after. But anyway, something I did notice is that the controversial prayer room/area is gone? And it doesn't seem to have been relocated anywhere that we have been able to see, either I think Movie World might have finally caved to all the complaints and protests they were getting about it. Which seems a bit of a shame to me that they let the bullies win, but I guess they have to try and keep everyone happy in the end (if that's even possible)?
