Oh really? Because last time I asked the attendant why there hadn't been any music playing on the ride (about a week ago) they told me that the carts had to be charged each night for that stuff - music, light etc - and that the carts had just run out of charge by that time of the day. Funnily enough, its been weeks now since I have experienced the ride with the music So @downunder196 I think you're definitely onto something there Which is a shame, as I think the ride is definitely enhanced by having it on!

Just thought I'd state the obvious, the paint/wrap on the arms does a pretty worthy job at matching the Doomsday character, which is a good sign given that it's themed to him lol

Hmmm.... maybe @joz can please help relocate them, since he has been online more recently than Richard has?

Ditto. It's 44 wheels per train, right? 4x per carriage (2x per side), 10 double carriages in total per train, plus the extra 4 at the rear?

Best I could do today, short of pulling my phone out whilst on the actual ride. But unfortunately I drew the short straw today in regards to seating arrangements, was a bit soaked at the time ? Ride is pretty much the same as before post maintenance, however there was no thunder and lightning effect inside the first cave entrance ? Plus the sound was significantly delayed for the outlaw scenario, we were well past it by the time the 'Help! Help!' kicked in. The waterfall was late turning off as well, not so good news for my backpack which was sitting in the middle of the raft lol ?

Yeah, I can confirm there was nothing in the maintenance bay at the time, at least that I could see anyway.

Green Lantern Coaster is having some issues today. Drove past on my way into the carpark and noted no carts cycling and no line. Then I saw people sitting in a cart in the loading station, front row ones sporting umbrellas and staff all over it. Looks like they were trying to get the harnesses off? Either way, I was like "uh oh" haha. The passengers were out by the time I walked in, but the ride has been closed since then (about 11am). I'm guessing they intend to reopen it soon as they had a staff member standing at its entrance herding people away lol. Where's bloody channel 7 when you need them? There's a breaking news story right here for you guys lol! !! ???

True. But even the cold weather hasn't stopped Dreamworld from hosting their annual Screamworld nights during winter months lol. To be honest, I completely overdressed for the first Carnivale. The nights had just started cooling down a bit, so I wore a shirt and jeans. Then proceeded to melt amongst the huge crowd and numerous flame thrower things used during the parade lol. I wore a dress when I attended two weeks later, and although it was still warm, I was a lot more comfortable! So maybe the trick would be to do an event that focuses around heat and fire, so they can pull those flame things out again and keep the crowd toasty... maybe even offer some hot and spicy food options to warm everyone up lol ??
