  1. Beat the crowd up first thing this morning to get some empty snaps of the new Plaza precinct ?? More pics to come when I get home and upload from my Canon ??
  2. Makes me think of the old theming inside ToTII. That had sparking electrical cables inside one of the queue line alcoves. Before they changed it to music videos instead, of course ?
  3. I didn't address the construction site, because nothing has changed? I don't want to bore people on here, I prefer to share photos when there's progress made.
  4. Sorry, but I call BS on this. I can say on VERY good authority that the only Movieworld staff that know any details about the new rollercoaster are high management. It's a project under tight wraps at the moment. Anything that other staff have told you is pure speculation on their part, as there is no way they would know anything that we don't already know ?
  5. Apparently the Monorail will be up and running again tomorrow as well ?
  6. I'm curious to see what they do with that hole in the brick wall near the gate!
  7. If you insist... but I took them from a moving car, so not the best quality. But they are from today.
  8. I Tiger Island piccies, finishing off the landscaping atm, and working on the new rocky entry way near Pandemonium. First bit of theming can also be seen peeping up from inside Hard to believe it finally opens in just 9 days!
  9. Couple of piccies from today. Finishing touches are being put on everything now. Lex Luther has decided to come out of hiding also ? @JaggedJanine may possibly have more pics on the way, I think she's at the park this arvo ☺️
  10. @Tim Dasco I asked the attendant today and he pretty much said the repaint was it. The rest was just routine maintenance.
  11. Just an update to say it's finally up and running again now. Yay! ☺️?
  12. Superman Escape is having some dramas prior to its reopening today, seems she isn't too fond of her new paint job ? Hopefully they will get it up and running soon.
  13. I couldn't get there any earlier than 9am due to family commitments, and the TVC filming started at 6am. That and I worked until late last night, as well as having to tonight too, so wouldn't have had enough time to catch up on sleep in between. Dunno how I would have coped riding a ride like that on only 4 hours of sleep, I'm sure they wouldn't be looking for puke shots Thankfully since a lot of people dropped off across the duration of the morning, so I asked for permission and was allowed to at least sit in to watch which was good enough for me, even if I couldn't wander around the back or ride the ride (as I hadn't signed the waiver). It was an amazing day, I absolutely loved participating in that sense Sure beat being stuck on the other side of that damn fence
  14. Tentative reopening date this Sunday 11th September for the SW Food Plaza, if all goes well. From HR Department ?
  15. I guess with the Star Tour confidentiality situation, obviously yeah, you'd be expected participants to sign an agreement if they wanted absolute sworn secrecy and wanted to legally hold you to it. But on the other hand, you also just know when you've been told things in good faith not to post it all over the internet, especially when you're a known member on here or other theme park communities/pages. I know I'd personally rather keep the trust factor, it's worth a hell of a lot more to me than a juicy blog headline. Also, it's nice to keep some things quiet so that others who are intending to do the tour don't have aspects of it spoilt for them. I know there were a few Easter eggs about a few rides and things I learnt that really surprised and excited me at the time, and I would have been disappointed to learn them in advance. That was one of the reasons I wanted to go to the first one. I guess it comes down to personal intuition. You just know when you should or shouldn't be sharing something with others, despite if you've been told you can or not ?
  16. I don't mind the variation in opinions. I just find it frustrating when it's nitpicking over one accidental error on my part. Yes I do make mistakes sometimes, but it's not like this particular one is a recurring issue. I rarely post double ups of photos, and if I do, it's never intentional. Truth is, after I submitted my post and then realised that Brad had ready posted similar after the page reloaded, I decided to leave mine up anyway, I just edited it and changed the wording on the post instead to make mine compliment his. Meh, life goes on. I'm sorry if my post upset or pissed off anybody. On a side note, loved your post @AlexB, thanks for the encouragement ☺️
  17. That's exactly one of the reasons I don't visit Sea World as often as the other parks. Despite its being the closest park to my residence, the lack of accessibility and carpark situation there really irritates me. I actually find it less of a headache to jump on the M1 and get to the other parks further away.
  18. I hear ya. I've lose count of the number of times I've had to run a vertically taken photo through my mobile's photo editor, just so it uploads and posts the right way around. Oddly enough, I never have to rotate it. Just open it and save it as a new file. Still a PITA nonetheless ?
  19. First time I'm guilty of the like, and the only reason is because I accidentally missed Brad's post. Hence the edit to my post once I realised, as initially I had it worded as if the Lego wrap was brand new. Otherwise I prefer not to share photos of unchanged things, as I don't see the point. Thanks for the appreciation and honest feedback anyway, such a charm as always ?
