IMO the best themed roller coaster is Space Mountain at Euro Disney. The fact that your following the journey to the moon, shot out of a cannon just, for me, spell awesome fun

The way wonderlands going with its repainting of Transylvania we could see the thunderbolt painted fluro pink behind the old action man arena. Maybe I should now change my signature but we'll have to wait and see. This is what was posted on the dreamworld website: After 20 years of service and 9 million passengers the Thunderbolt is now closed to make way for new attractions! Details will be released over the coming year. So it's definately going.

I'm not a big fan of drop rides I prefer flat rides that go upside down or have a bit more to it than just one drop. I don't mind the virtual reality movies that you watch and your seat moves with the movie as well.

Okay we're all coaster nuts here but what i wanna know is what everyones favourite flat style ride is? Mine would have to be the Bermuda Triangle at Seaworld that ride was awesome. I remember riding it when it first opened and I loved it.

There was actually a coaster at what is now Six Flags Belgium that got stuck on the loop. I remember seeing it on the news. I have the article in my room somewhere I'll see if i can find it. Robb Alvey even has information on it and so do several web pages. Some even have photos. The coaster was called Mavre when it got stuck. It is now enclosed.

I thought i'd heard it thanks thunder. Do you know how the fire started?

This may just be my imagination but didn't TBB have a small fire on it a while back and had a small section replaced just after the second drop i think it was. I dunno it may have just been a rumour that I heard. It doesn't surprise me that someone could have been hurt on TBB i've banged my knees against the square metal box at the front of each car. But on the flip side someone could have already had a condition and just ignored the warning sign. Back pain etc. TBB would definatley agrivate old injurys like this.

I've just got back from Wollongong having been away for a few days and my cousins live just over the hill from Jamberoo Rec. Park. We drove past it on the way to pick up my cousins g/f and I noticed alot of digging going on. My aunt said it was for a new ride (She said $6million but I think not). Does anyone know anything? I do know that about a month ago the admin office burnt down (Right before tax time how convienient!) and maybe it's the replacement building but there seems to be way too much land cleared for it to be for that.

IMO The park is still deciding what to do with the beastie. The LWL has been closed for quite some time now and nothing has happened to it. They must be either trying to decide where to re-locate it or what to do with it.

Skydiving was okey i guess but cause it was tandem I had no control if you know what i mean. for example when we were about to jump the other dude was standing on the edge and my feet were dangleing over the side. Real freaky stuff. You can't look down until the cord has been pulled cause when the parachute deploys theres a sudden jolt which could cause serious damage to your neck so theres no real view until your slowly floating downwards. And my landing was particularly harsh because the other guy was way taller so he fell ontop of me and that hurt! The giant swing was cool. You freefall then just swing backwards and forewards its the best feeling ever! (Just a note i am scared of heights but i'll still do anything )

Well so far in my thrill seeking life i've: Bungee Jumped I've been on that bungee bullet thing The giant swing in Cairns and i've tandom skydived once (and never again)

Yeah the fireworks shop used to be out front. The whole place has always seemed really dodgey to me so i've never been. Hey Richard is that a pic of you on the wild mouse?

i'd have to agree with Richard on this one simply bacause the wooden tracks have to be far more stable than the steel tracks to prevent it from buckling and snapping so they would have to be much stronger than a steel coaster

I was just visiting the coaster developers sites and MACK came up with wonderland Sydney as a park with MACK rides. I checked out their ride lists and couldn't find any of MACKs rides on either the coasters or flat rides list. Can anyone tell us more??? (The only thing that looked close was the Tasmanian Devil)

I thought this coaster was really cool but I can't get a photo or picture of what it actually looks like inside. I'd really like to see the track layout. I have the book which has a photo of part of the model but thats it. Can anyone help me?
