Just with the mountain thing. I don't know wether its still the same but at the last drop of terror canyon coming down into the splash area the area has got fake mountain rock around it, just like the mountain at the top, I don't know wether its still there, since its kind of terror canyon theme (rocky, foresty area) the area is different to the rest of the park with rock and alpine forest tree's, instead of tropical tree's and buildings. Because of this I have three theories: A: If Terror Canyon's fake rock is still at the bottom then maybe we could see the return of the mountain, to tie in with the ride and this time instead of having tropical trees and a forest mounatin they could expand the alpine forest area and incorprate the body slides with the theme, repair the water, put a new mountain in there, maybe better than the one before, because the name isn't changing (White Water Mountain, says it on the website) so there's obivously gonna be some sort of mountain. it would be weird having two platforms some tree's and still call White water Mountain, also is there still rock around the sign that says the flumes, terror Canyon and white water mountain. Also the slides are green this to me goes better with alpine forest than tropical theme. B: They are goning to take a expensive option and rip all of the terror canyon themeing out, rocks, tree's building's viewing area, and sign's and transfer the flumes into a new themed area, or keep the tropical theme and get rid of the alpine forest and keep it all the same, which wouldn't make the park very uniqe interesting and different as it is now. It would be with like tropical tree's with beach hut building like the rest of the park. C: they stick the same theme they had before, just new differnt coloured body slides. So yeah whatever happens, which we will probably see in the next couple of weeks I am sure will be interesting, I just want to know if the rocky stuff is still there on terror canyon. Does anyone else have differnt theories on how there gonna do it I would be very interested see other peoples thoughts. Also don't forget about matilda at the back of the park the sign around her before she left said she was getting a facelift, so maybe, just maybe we might see her around soon. I hope so things like that just add a little bit more magic to the place!

Gazza, I know this is a bit off topic but I was just wondering because its really annoying me, and I really want to know but what coaster is that you have the pictures of that you bag and what parks its at, its really been knacking me. Thanks! P.S. Our parks on the Gold Coast so need to get a huge B&M would be so fun, and awesome. So park people please listen to this, it would double capacity and make an awesome ride with heaps of inversions and height. Ok back onto topic now. Sorry for that I just needed to ask that question and say that thing, even though I already know its been said before I thought I would say it again. LOL

ok I have some more news on the latest WW Mountain thing!! Ok!!! Just looking on the WnW site it looks as if the flumes aren't the only thing that the park will be closing untill September, But both Terror Canyon's. In fact the whole WW Mountain will be closed, now I don't know now, if Terror Canyon will be taken down, just like the flumes till September, which as the website staes the flumes and both terror Canyon's will be operating again in September!!! But yeah!!! So there you go the entire WW mountain will be shutdown!!!! There defiently must be something major going on here!!! Its gotta be something to do with the new slide, its really good to see this side of the park finally getting some much deserved attention, especially after H20 has recieved so much!!! It will be sought of split in half with H20 with the coaster and the older section with the new water slide!!! It will be interesting to see what goes on here in the next couple of weeks/months, also it sounds like a September opening so I imagine we could see the pieces arrive soon, especially if the site is already being prepared. Don't forget the half-pipe should also be going up soon with only also a couple of months to go. I'm sure people who bought passes will defiently have a reason to renew them now!!! P.S: I would also like to say that the WW Mountain flumes may have been boring, slow and annoying, maybe not the best thrill in the park, but you must remember when they were built, not only that but they still pull the crowds and are mainly a kids/family attraction! They are greatly themed I love then and I hope that they stay!!! Also Matilda is sitting at the back of the park you can see it on your way up to Terror Canyon, a sign did it was returning to a new relocation soon!!! I will be driving past WnW on my way to MW for Shrek the Third I will see what is going on then!!!

I just drove past W'n'W, I looked at White Water Mountain and the two body slides that are facing the M1 have been completely removed and there was an excavater on the side of the mountain digging up dirt! What's going on! Does anyone know about this!!??!! If this is maintence, it is some pretty big maintence there doing!!!

Just found an update on west coaster that Islands of adenture in Orlando will be adding a Harry Potter themed area at the back of the Lost Continent. Dueling Dragon's will also be included in this area as well! From the pictures looks like there will be Diagon Alley. It also says that there be a ride going in the Hogwarts castle their building!!! It look's super cool I just wish that we were getting it! Unfortunatley were not, but who knows maybe something similar in the near future? I don't believe anyone is bagging DW! Its jus that it is becoming a little run down becasue they don't seem to have a real passion to caring for a theme park like Village Roadshow do! Its just things people think should be fixed up, that's all, nothing more. After that people will be a lot happier. Its only because that at the moment it doesn't look very appealing!

With the rapid ride maintence I went to the park eight times from last March to 2007 Feb, and in those visit's the first, third and second last time I visited the park River Rapids was closed with no water in it! I don't know weather it was in parts its maintence but that's what happended, it was a bit disapointing because I love that ride! Does anyone have any info on what was going on with this unusual maintence?

I went to DW in 2003 it was disgusting, no other way to put it! it was a run down place badly in need of a huge re-vamp, and other things, such as improvements in food! I later revisited the park last year in March and it had, had some major refurbishments done to it. re-painting, fixing gardens, and retheming the place really did look pretty good! Although I visited it again in Febuary and I noticed it was begginging to start to go down hill again. I think once they re-vamp an area they need to quick it that way and let it fall apart as quickly as they did. Another thing that I feel they need to fix is how the ride's show grease badly, two of the worst examples are the Cyclone and GD, GD's grey tower has faded but the black gease stands out then! SW has a white roler coaster and it doesn't show grease as bad! But other than that I think DW is a great and when they finish the coaster and do some other things it will be an even greater park! P.S I wish they would re-open the skyway!

I agree, don't know about the wet'n'wild thing though, because the parks aren't half day parks there full day parks!!! Looney Tuens I think defiently needs to be expanded, more rides, mabye even another kids coaster? I don't know. But for more thrill rides, the area from the car park on your left back to Leathel Weapon is free, there is some swamp land, maybe this could become a lake and you could put rides around it, (like Islands of Aventure) its defiently big enough! What do you think?

Agreed, good to see i going! If nothings changed since the third movie, WBMW cannot put in an Harry Potter exhibit, due to JK Rowling!!! There lucky that they still have the train there! Also the train is defiantly not from Southport!!! If an Aussie Idol atraction goes in it will be in the main theatre due to the amount of people visiting the Looney Tunes show! I personally think it will be fun getting up and duing some Karoke, or whatever it is they have have planned with it, if it even goes ahead!!! If the Simpons thing is true this might be where it is going, old matrix exhibit!!!!? I thought Happy Feet as well would be bad. My friend dragged me alnog to it, I thought that long about penguins dancing and singing would be a drag!!! Turned out to be a really fantastic movie! Felt like it only went for half and hour. It was really really good!!! I thought a Happy Feet ride could be an S&S Screamin Swing, called Happy Feet a Song and Dance!!! A song for the people screaming and a dance of people legs kicking in the air!!! except take a the feet rests and have a system like The Claws hydrolic floor!!! Play music like Hit Me Up, Rock This Party and music like that. Replace the old grave yard, move it somewhere else and renovate it, make it better!!! and put the Screamin Swing in its place!!! If they put the Aussie Idol thing in they should really promote where it is. Most people don't even know where the theatre is, or whats in it!!!
